If you go see the new Starwars films whenever they come out, you could bring it and just act like those intense folks that dress up, people would just think it's a fancy custom made lightsaber, not a PV 
I always thought the innokin SVD would make an awesome lightsaber, the telescopic section gives that difference in diameter that many lightsabers have, and all the crazy looking buttons add to the feel.

I read an article on him just the other day. He NEVER intended that to get out to youtube. One of his friends found it and copied it and put it on youtube. He took crap and probably still is to this day.
Moral of the story; delete your goofing around after you look at it.
