Vamo Ops Check

Just checking out on the Vamo.

Is it normal for the battery tube to warm up a little during vaping? I'm experiencing this currently.

I tried with IMR18650 & 18350 both yield the same results.

I'm on 8W, 2.6Ohms.

This doesn't happen with GG+ZAG @ 1.8ohms.

Never happened before. I vape 8W at 1.8ohm. No heating sign. Only 3sec drag per puff

why use vamo when u have ur gg alr

It's a long story how the vamo came along. it was shoved into my hands. SO wth.... just use for fun lor.

Seems like no one have the warming problem.....

Or cse I always drag until it cuts off???

Ya la it may heat up cos u always drag till the limited cut off. Maybe that's the case. I am at 2.6ohm with 8w. No heating. 2 drags in 3-4secs.

Anyway, whats the pros and cons of using voltage or wattage?

2.6ohm resist, i set voltage at 4.5v. if wattage i set at 8w. Both feel the same.

Any idea why most ppl prefer wattage to voltage?

VW = a car with cruise control. VV = No cruise control.

Say you're driving @ 80km/h and you're on a hill. In order to maintain 80km/h on an incline, you would have to step more accelerator to maintain 80km/h without cruise control.

with cruise control your car will automatically adjust and maintain @ 80km/h.

What is the difference between voltage and wattage? I use a Provari and a GGTS so I don't have any option for watts. Ohms I know.

Haha thanks! I get it. Voltage no matter what, though u set it to the desired one, the results may still not be as accurate or consistent. Wattage maintains consistency and accuracy.

its the hot spring that costs the heat up of bottom. i swap the original spring with another spring i found from dun know where, the problem gone

No such issue I was doing <5V with 3 consecative chain vape however when I hit above 5V, the top tier where the connector is warm after 5 consecative chain. Never do any changes to the parts and I'm on rms mode

Chain vape still ok. Bottom line is dun hold the fire button for too long. Logically of cos it will heat up.

yea even the Blue LCD turn reddish for my chain. lols. removed batt, air it, and good to go again. abuse the vamo man! they are build to smash a skull lols.

Whaha I like when u say is build to smash skulls. Maybe can recommend to security as its could be use in an emergency. Hohoho

Vamo still my daily vape. The rest I like to keep them polished and and beautify my shelf. Once in awhile will find my ego twist missing. Realised my missus has been stealing vape from me. No wonder my juice decreased so rapidly.
