Five rapid clicks on the fire button. Does the mod respond?

What brand and spec are the batteries?

Batteries are supposed to ship at their safe "storage charge," which is usually the nominal voltage of the battery. However, it depends on the vendor.

See if the battery will take a charge.

Try charging the battery for a little bit and seeing if the vamo works then fully charging the battery. Most batteries come with a little charge but I cannot speak for all because every company might do something different. My batts usually come with some sort of charge but I would just try that out to see whether its just a un charged batt or its the vamo . Hope its works

I still would like to know the name-brand battery and the type of batteries you purchased (IMR or protected).

To experience your mod's optimum performance, the correct batteries are a must. Purchasing the wrong batteries could be a safety issue.

I have noticed with this as well as my ego , when I chain vape I get the burnt taste from the coil anyway to avoid this ?

Depends on your atomizer. Top coils tend to get dry hits more often. To avoid the dry hit/burnt taste, you have to tilt and twirl that thing a lot. Cartomizers (and some lower end cartotanks) need to be topped off with liquid from time to time. Bottom coil devices are less prone to dry hits because the wicks literally sit in the liquid, but they happen with those, too.

The burnt taste means your system is not delivering liquid to the coil as fast as you're vaporizing it. Slow down a little, and make sure you're using the right technique for your system.
