I received My Vamo today and I have some questions. I brought the Vamo vv mod v2 but it has black rubber buttons is this the revise version? when I was vaping i was taking 4 or 5 vapes in a row I tried to vape again and nothing happened no vaper or errors and I tried it again and it worked. This happen a couple of times and than I notice that the ego clearomizer was a little hot. Is this normal or do I have a problem with my Vamo vv mod or ego clearomizer ?

I'm not sure. I've got V1 and V2. While I've had some issues with both, neither one has cause me any concerns. Perhaps a moderator can move this to the Vamo thread for some more information. I'll ask for you.
I've asked the moderators to move this to the vamo thread so you can get more information on it. Hope that's ok.

Hi danm219,
The buttons have nothing to do with the Version of Vamo you have.
Are you using stacked batteries, what type of batteries are you using, there does seem to be an issue with some Vamo's powering off, the problem doesn't seem to be as a result of version either. To be honest as mine isn't playing up yet I haven't really paid attention to that specific problem, I suggest you have a look at the Vamo Forum, where I'm sure all your questions and more will be answered.

Hi Dan,
The version 1 Vamos had rubber buttons. The version 2 Vamos came out with metal buttons. But... some-one may have put rubber buttons on a version 2... confusing huh?
A few pieces of info needed to help you:
Do you have the Vamo set to No 2? That is the accurate RMS mode.
What volts or watts are you vaping at?

Clearomizers can get a little hot sometimes with a lot of pvs.

According to Tim at Vapor Beast the manufacturer offers the latest version of the Vamo with the retailer's choice of silicone or metal buttons. That would mean that one can not use the presence of silicone buttons from any source, not just mjay, to determine whether one has a version 1 or a version 2 Vamo.

Thanks for the info. I'd be surprised if anyone was selling v1s now. The retailers were selling out of the v2s and restocking with more v2s.

I was vaping on the no2 at 7.5 watts. I don't think there is a problem with the vamo I think that the ego clearomizer heated up but I not sure that's why I was asking I wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem. The only thing is I vaped the same way my lava tube and never had that problem. Maybe it just heated up but it never shut off or gave an error.

Same here. I'm using my VAMO at 7.5 in RMS mode. I'm using a ViVi nova though. The nova does seem to get a bit warmer than when I use it on my ego twist. I also noticed that when I use the Vamo in mini mode with one 18350 batt, the Vamo itself seems to get warm. Not sure if that's normal or not.
