Vamo: Stainless Steel vs. Chrome

So, I ordered up the cheap Vamo from vaporbreak.com

I already have some nice mods, but I was going to gift this one out to my lovely girlfriend (who is in love with her pink Vision Spinner 1300mah)

I accidentally ordered the Chrome, but I gather the $3.00 extra is worth it for the Stainless Steel? Thoughts?

Well, the chrome does look nice and matches many tanks/etc better than the SS, but it is susceptible to scratches and the chrome wearing off.

Personally I am glad I got the SS version, but I know many who are happy with the chrome.

If I had my choice I would go with the stainless. When I got my VAMO in Dec the only choice was chrome or black chrome, I chose black chrome, (also called gunmetal), my finish has held up well, but others haven't been so lucky.

Hi Kent. Stainless is better. Mine are both chrome. One has been used a lot for 6 months and held up well on the finish, but was showing a bit of wear just under the fire button. Not very noticeable, but a good excuse to J-Wrap it. If its for your girlfriend she might want to J-wrap it - or make her own cover. Just a thought.
