I bought a Vamo V5 a few months back and have been using it daily since then, I've noticed that sometimes it just turns itself off. It's gotten worse over time but the other day it just started acting up horribly. The only way that I could figure out how to fix it is slightly unscrew the bottom cap where the batteries go, because it doesn't even turn on when fully screwed in. Is this an issue with the batteries or the actual connection itself on the e cig to the batteries, I'm pretty new to vaping and the vamo is my first E cig, so all the help I can get is appreciated. Have a great day.

got some gunk in the threadings? maybe its a spring issue too does the battery rattle at all?
There's nothing in the actual battery compartment of the E cig, I was thinking of it possibly being the spring but the battery doesn't rattle around at all inside of the e cig, one thing that may help is sometimes when I hit the button to fire up the e cig the screen will turn off and on very fast as if I was hitting the button multiple times quickly, and then would turn off.

ahh well thats no good if it does it with the atty off and not moving at all -- bad button I would say -- unfortunately the vamos are not very easy to repair -- you can pull the top end off and resolder a new button on -- but its not going to be easy -- and you will have to re-hotglue the board back in place when your done.

if you're feeling techy and brave here is how you can open it -- be carefull though -- its easy to break the wires when you're taking it apart.

Honestly, I don't feel up to that yet, as I've never done anything like that. Do you think if I took it to my local e puff store they may be able to repair it? If not I can deal with it it's just kind of annoying/tedious to live with. Do you think somehow the button is also making it not even turn on when the batteries are fully screwed in? Btw, I really do appreciate the help

they might -- but they are more likely to tell you its past its prime and try to sell you on some new gear instead.
I don't blame ya -- its some work and if I didn't have lots of extra electronic parts I wouldn't do it either.
the thing with the battery tightness changing the behavior is a bit odd -- but maybe its moving the board out of alignment and causing the switch to be more prone to "bounce"
can you see the screen move at all as you tighten the battery cap?

No, the screen doesnt move at all, it stays in place even when i jiggle around the e cig
