I bought a Vamo V5 about 3 months ago, in that time I have dropped it twice, once on concrete floor in my garage and again in my kitchen, about a 5ft drop and still works as it did new.

BUT I'm awaiting my Vaporshark dna, just got the trident v2 so my Vamo is history =D

And about fasttech, that really sucks cause I just ordered the grand vapor private v2 clone, was hoping to get it soon =/

My tesla...........

My Tesla didn't even last 4 months. It has a crappy fire switch. It was a lot of money to pay for an APV with one of the weakest fire buttons I have ever run across, and cheap PWM mode that's far worse than what a Vamo puts out. Looked pretty - and it was all down hill from there. Final verdict: Tesla gets a fail.

Might as well get a Kamry K200 from fastech, when they get more in. $31.45, and you get a display with six color choices, and a puff counter! I guess it's the Telsa clone plus. lol.

I got the black one, and it was fun to play around with for a while. Kind of cheap, but an interesting addition to my ever growing collection of APV's.

best regards, larry mac

I ordered a Vamo v5 from FT over the weekend. Just got a notice that it's already shipped.
Shipped vs getting thru the international shipping consortium black hole o' doom is a different story...some flow right thru...some sit for 2 weeks then flow, some sit for a week, get returned, re-shipped to start the process again...it's been hit and miss with ALL Chinese wholesalers due to the rule change/enforcement

How are you enjoying it?? I should be getting my Vamo V5 here soon, though I can't open it till xmas eve due to it being a gift from my mother.

I'm growing increasingly impatient waiting for it unfortunately, well not impatient but ANTSY AND ANXIOUS AS ALL GET OUT!!!
That's how we all are with every FT order now

Two small victories...
1. Finding crazy inexpensive stuff much lower than alot of vendors CONUS

2.

Vamo is a decent device for the price, but they can be hit and miss.

I too wonder where I can get a ProVari for a few bucks more than a Vamo. I bought a V2 a year ago for $50, came with one 18650 and a cloth sleeve, mind you this was in the pre-fasttech era, so it was a good deal at the time. The Vamo is still in good condition.

I bought a ProVari blem during the 5% off Fourth of July sale this summer, with 18650 extension cap it was just under $150, that is more than a few bucks difference in my book.

Poor Vamo, first it lost out to the Sigelei V2 Zmax, then came the ProVari, now it just sits there and looks lonely.

I have the Vamo3 ( well 2 of them) 1 of them is doing great, the other took a fall from 5 feet and the display quit working but it still vapes. That one is now the standby/secondary unit. I just couldnt see myself forking out 150$+ for a mod this early in the developement stage of devices. I am waiting to see what is going to surface on the market once all the bugs and design flaws are worked out ( extended use/abuse proves whats durable) then I will consider a more expensive unit...

I ordered a Vamo 2.5 from maxvaper.com in Ohio. 2.5 is apparently the same as the 2, with the problems fixed (like the rattling battery and the too-small-spring), plus a smoked glass window, etc. I got the stainless (read some complaining on this forum about the fingerprint-magnet nature of the chrome and gunmetal). 'Twas a good deal, Keith was friendly and helpful, talked me through it on the phone, and he threw a bunch of freebies in with the package (including a couple extra tanks, a couple extra batteries, a charger, and a free bottle of e-juice). It arrived within three days. Very satisfied with the service, and totally and entirely satisfied with the Vamo. I am new, and can't say I am super knowledgable or anything, or experienced with other mods, but for what its worth I would highly recommend the 2.5 -- especially if you're one who didn't like the design with the engraved lines.

Own a Vamo V2 and V3 from FastTech. Vamo V2 is 11 months old and button a little wonky. V3 4+ months and works great. Paid $88.00 for both V2 and V3 including an itelli charger and 2 genuine Panasonic Batts= a great deal. They are genuine BUT quality on the Vamo is hit and miss. It will:
- last for a year.
- have issues almost immediately.- have issues after a couple of months.

I like the squirrel's hat by the way. Made me smile !.:)

three vamo's. the only one that doesn't work was lost by my daughter. good introductory devices that can be hit or miss, but full featured at a very low price. To learn about APV's, it's an excellent choice. Vaping is an evolution, and the vamo, or something similar is an important part of our growth and learning curve. I have since sold mine and focused on "my evolution." Recommended.
