Proud owner of a V2 Vamo I bought about 6 weeks ago. It is a wonderful device and has allowed me to be completely analog free. It is SO much better than the V4L (Vapor4Life) ecigs that I bought a couple of years ago. Anyhow, I am running a Kanger Protank on her and like it a whole lot. I also purchased an aClear (Vivi Nova clone) and that thing is horrible. Lots of dry/burnt hits even though I don't chain vape per se. Anyhow I want to try something new and was thinking of purchasing a Valley View Vapes (VVV) cartotank to try out. Is there anyone on here that is currently using one of these tanks with their Vamo? If so, can you please let me know your thoughts. Also, I definitely am hoping some can post some pics of their VVV on their Vamo and also let me know which tank(s) you purchased. VVV has several sizes and types of tanks and I just want to get an idea of the look of each on the Vamo so I can make an informed decision. Thanks in advance.

I've been using one of their polypro 3ml tanks since February and I love it. I ordered 2 more when they re-opened recently and I got them today. I'm also using a Tank Air Flow Controller from madvapes to protect the threads. Tank Airflow Controller

I've heard only good things about their tanks. I don't have one, but I do have a couple of others you can see how they look. They're both Pyrex. On the left is a Phiniac, and the other is IBtanked. I just got the Phiniac, and both are quality tanks. Typically I like to drip an atty, but lately I've been back to carto's and carto tanks. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with a tank from VVV or any good carto tank - you'll never get a dry hit. :vapor:

That looks great, thank you for posting. Is that the premium one with either aluminum or delrin caps or is it the economy tank with just the grommet end caps? Looks like the premium with aluminum to me. Have you tried the 5ml ones yet? I just wonder if they are a bigger diameter than the Vamo. I like a smooth, more integrated look.

Been looking at those too. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them and frankly I just like the price point of the VVV ones and also the fact that he seems to provide great customer service, he gives back to the community (contests), and he is somewhat local to me.

Glad to hear no dry hits with the carto tanks. That is my one complaint with the protank. I occasionally get dry hits, not often, but it does happen. What carts do you typically use? I was going to go with the Boge ones as they seem to review well and are readily available just about anywhere. The Ikenvape ones also seem to be very good.

I totally agree. The price on the VVV tanks is very reasonable, and if they're local it's all the more reason to support them. As far as the carts, I use both Boge and Smok carts. When I said you won't get a dry hit, that may not be totally accurate. With thicker juices I've found that the filler in the Boge's has a harder time wicking than the Smok's. It seems that the filler in the Boge is more dense or maybe I'm not punching enough holes in them. Regardless, I've burnt a few Boge's on thicker juice such as coffee which seems to work fine in the Smok's. Don't get me wrong though - Boge's are great and I think if they're wicking well that they last longer and have better flavor. YMMV.

I haven't tried the Ikenvape's as they seem to always be out of stock, but one day I'll get lucky. Post a pick of your new tank when you get it all set up, and let us know how it's working for you.

Cheers! :toast:

Here she is with her new VVV 5ml tank. Having trouble getting the carto to wick properly. Filled tank, pulled off drip tip and dripped quite a few drops in...maybe 20. Dripped all down the side of carto. Flooded. Blew out the carto and then got dry hits (yuck). Wondered if maybe he put a cheap carto in there so installed a new one. Dripped a bunch into the carto and let sit for a while and then added more into the carto. Kept doing this for a an hour or so. I started using it and it works pretty well but then I am occasionally getting dry hits. Not chain vaping it right now but I hope it starts wicking better. Not using thick juice either, 65/35 PG/VG. Please tell me that it will start wicking properly soon. Boge factory prepunched cartos (2 hole).

Compared to my Kanger protank, the flavor is slightly different, not better, not worse, just different. I'm thinking it will improve as it wicks more juice. Strange thing is that with Hawk Sauce from MBV, I can run the KPT at 6 watts but with the Boge carto, I have to lower the power to 5 or 5.5 at most otherwise burnt hits.
