I don't own the SVD or the Protank-2 but I do own both of their respective "little brothers"- that is, the iTaste VV 3.0 and the Mini Protank-2, so I can vouch for both Innokin and Kanger products. I will likely be upgrading to an SVD/Protank-2 combo just as soon as I can come up with the scratch to do so, so I suppose that's about as good an endorsement as I am qualified to offer. Take that as you will.

SVD of the two, but if you're looking at the SVD, please consider the Sigelei V3 in stainless. It also telescopes and is vastly superior, imho, but does cost about $20 more, but perhaps the best APV under $100, imho. The other two top three under $100 on my list would include the iTaste V3 and the MPV V2. Clearly, the Vamo is the best value entry level APV out there and many new vapers have had good luck with them as a starter APV. Any of these mentioned all use the same chip and will perform quite similarly. In this price range it comes down to form factor and fenestration/appearance. Good luck in your GearQuest!

SVD and a good Carto Tank would be my choice, but there is a learning curve to a Carto..... but flavor comes through better in a Carto than the Protank.

The Protank is easy to use and durable in your pants pocket. Evods are also a consideration ( same maker as the Protank, uses same heads )

You can rebuild the heads/coils for the Protanks and Evods.

This morning I wandered into the vape shop down the street to pick up some juice and a couple of extra coils for my protank. I just got paid last night and I spent the entire time on the way there telling myself, "Don't buy the SVD. You just bought the VV two weeks ago and you don't need to be dropping money on yet another piece of vaping gear so soon."

So... I'm really loving my shiny new SVD.

I'd say go for a hypertank on an svd. Hypertank uses the same heads as kanger tanks like. The evod and protank but it holds 5ml and is cheaper then the protank. The evod is even cheaper and I love it personally it just doesn't hold Allot of juice and it's plastic so you have to be careful of what juices you use.

Or. You could get an MVP v2. I ordered one because an svd ment waiting Allot longer from fast tech and staring at it because I wouldn't be able to afford batteries. I love this thing and it was only 42 bucks shipped from a u.s. Site

I have the Vamo and really like it. I also picked up the KSD(new) off of Ebay for $40, and it is a nifty device. It functions exactly the same as the ZMax with a single button. Eventually, I will hope to receive my SVD from Fasttech; it has shipped, but I could be waiting another month before it gets here.

The MVP may not be a bad unit, but anything without a replaceable battery gets disqualified. I move around too much for work, and while 2600 mAh may seem like a lot, it really isn't if you are a chain vaper. And while I really love my cars, the power to the cigarette lighter gets cut off when you pull the key. So, I would have to have two in rotation, maybe three (two with me and one always on a charger in my hotel or home). Batteries are a lot cheaper.

One thing about the Vamo, it will not work with protected batteries which I have stopped using anyway.

As far as the Vaporizer is concerned, I have become a bottom coil guy. They are easy to maintain, rebuildable, and give the cooler vape I like. Kanger, Itaste, Smoktech all make them. They do gurgle a bit, but with some slight modding that problem can be overcome.

There are so many good choices and combinations available now that there is no right or wrong in the vaping world. You just have to find what suits your lifestyle and taste.
