Got my Pulse X (red G10 panels) in today, and am really impressed with how well the panels look and feel. They also fit perfectly, with zero rattle or wiggle. Since I have updated my 80W Pulses to the v7 firmware there was no surprises in terms of operation. The Pulse 80/X has become my go-to when I want to use a single battery regulated squonker.

Not all that impressed so far with the Pulse X atty. Only have put in one build so far (dual vertical 3mm 24g 316L) so way too early to pass judgement, but the flavor hasn’t really impressed me. But it does have smooth airflow, an easy deck to work with, and it squonks like a champ, so it’s well worth putting some time into it with different builds to see how it can perform.

I also picked up a Nudge 22 with the Pulse. That little guy is really impressive! Super simple to build, the flavor just pops and my concerns about it leaking (I can sometimes have a heavy hand when squonking) have so far not been an issue. It was a last-minute addition to the cart, and am very glad I picked one up.

The nudge 22 is a good atty. Leaking is a bit of a problem when over squonking, but the smaller airflow cap isn't as bad about it as the larger airflow cap. I have to be careful when I run the large cap.

you could probably sand the areas where it is tight with an ultra fine sand paper. Do it a small bit at a time and test the fit every so often
Yeah but G10 is tough. I would probably start a little more course and work down to a fine grit. I had to sand a little on my G10 grips for my CZ 75 PCR.

After playing around with the Pulse 90, the most impressive improvement, for me, is the G10 panels as they fit very well (no rattle and gives a more full feeling when held). The Pulse X atty though was a bit of a disappointment.
one complete squonk system and u like that door ? not that bad right.

The concept looks interesting, I would use it to try out dual vertical coils. Im not a big fan of squonkers although I can totally appreciate them. I think the Pulse 80w and Recurve killed it for me. Maybe thats what I get for buying a more 'affordable' squonker. The recurve leaks A LOT. I had my first Pulse die in a week because the recurve leaked so much it leaked into the chip and boom, dead. At least Vandy is good on warranties. [:

Sounds too me that you were over squonking.. So basically user error... The pulse and recurve combo is an excellent one.. The recurve rda needs a gentle squonk just till the juice is coming up to the air holes... Also try the 22mm clear cap on the recurve... Then you can see what your doing...

Ive got down how much to squeeze now. But it still leaks around the 510. It appears the juice is coming from inbetween the RDA and 510 also. I rarely use it. I usually just use my Paranormal with a drop, squonking is too much fuss for me, I find dripping to be easier and less hassle. I like the extra battery space instead of a bottle as well [: I have a NarCa on the way im dying to try instead of the recurve too. Probably use it more then!

The recurve atty? Try another. My KRMA's leak more than my Gr1, and Basic. The PulseX more than them all so I put an o-ring on it and it doesn't leak at all. Are you sure the 80w didn't leak internally? They are known for that. I had one that did and one that doesn't. The one that did leaked juice onto the chip and it died. I took it apart, dried it off, let it sit overnight and it worked again, but pointless since I'm not willing to put forth the effort to fix it. Just got the X and a Topside instead.

I have a NarCa otw I was going to use instead of the recurve. I need a hex key to open up my other pulse, Ive been trying to dry it out though! Hows the topside?

edit I already got my first Pulse 80 replaced with the warranty. I was supposed to ship the broken one back, but still have it. I had it sealed in a bag to ship for the past month but took it out, juice is leaking out to the edges. I need to open her up and look sround.

You know I'm talking about an extra o-ring that goes on the bottom of the rda, right? @Zaryk where's that pic you posted of this?

Ohh, hmm. I could try it out. My recurves tensions already pretty strong. I worry about ripping the 510 out with it sometimes. I guess I could try it out and see. I could always unscrew the ehole thing and put it on one of my hybrid mechs and rip it off that way, but all that unscrewing makes me worry about the threads.. Hmm. Decisions decisions. Maybe Ill just wait for the NarCa and see how I like it instead and go from their!
