This was cut and pasted from the vapeage website. So I am curious. I like it. Nice look to it but Grimms review has me real skeptical still. $75 and you have to buy the battery separately. That sucks.

Q: Is V-Mod fully 510 compatible — can users interchange their own 510 system (Cartomizer or Atomizer/Cartridge) instead of our proprietary cone/silo design?
A: The VMOD has a 510 thread which means that any 510 will fit it. Although, only our Silo is compatible for use with the feed system. The VMOD can be used as a battery only, and as a drip base system with the others. We do encourage modders to be creative to mod their favorite cart/carto to work with the VMOD. Although, we feel our cartomizer is as good or better than anything on the market.

The Vmod is becoming a popular little bottom feeder! IMHO it is a very nice upgrade from an ego.

There is a long thread about it under "video reviews" section. I posted a link to here in post #21. Come join the group & get some sneak peaks of new colors coming out in the coming months.

I'm really enjoying mine. GG gave his experience as being "fiddly" and I thank him for his honesty as always. My experience has been quite different. The vmod is my first bottom feeder, and was quite simple to learn with the provided instructions, and the help of the Almighty. <3. It is for me a much more quality vape than an ego, bloog/volt or provape. I will be ordering a second and possibly a third when the new colors come out.

At first it was a nice little mod until it cracked which was a manufacturing flaw and being corrected as I type this. There is a learning curve to feeding it. I've seen easier mods to feed than this one. If I had a choice between the Boge Revolution V2.1 or the VMod, I'd take the Boge.

And I didn't care for the Boge.

Like many mods, the Vmod has had some "first run blues," but Vapage has been far more receptive to admitting what needs improvement for the second batch of mods then what Boge ever was. The next round is in production now. I expect the Vmod to be widely distributed in the very near future. Regardless of the few bugs we've encountered in this first batch, the Vmod is a solid device from a great company.

For me the battery was not an issue because I already had a few 14500s laying around. I think that the hybrid 306/510 atomizer works amazingly well with the Vmod. For me, it took the whole vaping experience to a whole new level. I do like that Vapage is working to correct the flaws that they found or were told about. That lets me know that they care what their customers think and that they have our satisfaction at the forefront of their minds.

Unless it does something really special, that proprietary carto is a deal killer for me. Take a look at the Boge Revolution V2.

A Boge Revolution V2, you can't even change the battery and your talking about proprietary.

Depending on the ohm and your choice or cartomizer or atomizer, you can pretty much make it hit however you would like. I was looking to get away from all the hands on of dripping and re filling cartos and darn near opted for a tank set-up even though I preferred the dripping. Anyway I am very pleased.

New Vmod owner here and lemme begin by saying I love this thing! Not only is it nice looking but the vapor production on this thing is ridiculous. The Vmod has never failed to solicit stares and questions when I use it in public. However, for the life of me I cannot get this thing to stop leaking! I have installed all the furnished gaskets and the catch cup to no avail. Just wondering if you had rectified the problem with your unit?

Also make sure you have the newer upper gasket that was in the bag of seals installed.

New Vmod owner here. Just recieved it on Friday and I absolutely love it! Im using the stacked 14250s and its vaping like a champ. My only gripe is with leaking. Although to be totally honest, this thing works so good that I actually dont mind wiping juice of my hands occasionally. Never thought Id say that but its the truth.

New Vmod owner here. Just recieved it on Friday and I absolutely love it! Im using the stacked 14250s and its vaping like a champ. My only gripe is with leaking. Although to be totally honest, this thing works so good that I actually dont mind wiping juice of my hands occasionally. Never thought Id say that but its the truth.

It is a vapor beast to be sure! Just wondering if you installed the catch cup that sits between the upper and lower parts of the feeding assembly? If not that will more than likely eliminate any leaks you may have.

I posted that in June. Then the Vapage and the V2 were both just becoming available. It also looked like Vapage would be the only source for the atomizers. Different ball game now. However, I did mention the proprietary battery. I tend to change out atomizers a lot more often than I buy new batteries. The eGos are proprietary batteries too.

That said, I actually agree that the V2 would be a better product if it took a generic battery just as the Vapage would be a better product if it worked better with a more standard atomizer. It may be that they will set the standard but, that remains to be seen.

my vMod have leaking around the bottle.
i've read all posts about vMod, now i don't know if my chassis is the new, my friend buy for me in california.
someone can post the pics to see the difference for the old and the new chassis?
