Yeah, like I said I did one and it sucked big time after that. Just never seemed to wick well anymore. I'd get 2 puffs before needing to flood it again. Gave it a good chance. That's my only experience.

If it the atty is shot then why not try a dry burn I guess. Can't hurt.

Thanks folks, really.
I'm not much up to speed on device friendly differences between juice types. Guess I better get there.
I recently began dripping a bit with a little Stingray atty - flavors really are more concentrated, likely be doing that more often when at home.
Having used both attys & cartos in the vmod , I like the user friendly nature of the carto; feeds better, nicer draw, but does mute flavor intensity. Attys seem to be more fiddly & inconsistent, but better flavor when working correctly.
Guess I'll continue to experiment with cookers. Like to try an i06 & a dual coil carto.
Really like the convenience of this device though.

I like to get my batteries at RTD Vaper. IMHO one can't go wrong with AW brand. RTD sells other battery brands that would be suitable for the vmod as well.

You could just turn the battery so the nipple is on the bottom. Just learn that it's OK to do that with the Vmod, but not every mod made.

Careful buying nicoticket, I hear the flavor diminishes w/ age, it is supposed to have a short window in which flavor remains good after steep.
Dammit, thought maybe I had a permanent solution but the 1.5 atty only made it a few days & started tasting bad, real bad.
Is it possible that I gunked it up - ran a bottle of Bobas bounty thru it ?
On a whim, I put the supplied silo carto back in & it's slightly muted but feeds more consistently, nice draw & is smooth. Same juice.
Wanting a set it / forget it solution.
Cisco spec 306 ? Perhaps ?
LR Smok carto ?
Suggestions for a trouble free , longish lasting carto or atty ?
Note : doubt I'll be buying any Bobas going forward. Discovered nicoticket.

Guess I'd better get on with it then .. :vapor: I'll evaluate going forward - I'm still finding my way regarding juice.

One side note ; I did find a useful purpose for the Bobas, quite by accident. Using it to sweeten up some Niquid midnight express that initially tasted like smoldering newspaper. It's ... better ? now, more like smoldering newspaper with brown sugar.

Even if you never DIY your own juice, it is a good idea to pick up a few flavorings. That is how I started making juice......I had to "fix" a few that I bought, and pretty soon I was just mixing my own LOL

But you can make a vendor juice more to your liking, even up the VG and then add a little flavoring that you think would improve it.

I love Bobas Bounty w/a tiny bit of pecan pie in it. :)

I buy the atomizer from Vapage but they are quite expensive. Does anyone know of cheaper ones that work well with the VmodXL?

You can wait for a sale. Sign up for the newsletter. You can get a good month out of an atomizer unless you vape liquids that"gunk"up easily. Some have reported even longer than that...

Type of liquid makes a big difference in the"life"of anything you use to vape...

The Stingray atomizers at House of Vapor are $9.00 each. So the same price, but you're not forced to buy 2 at a time. I like them better than the Vapage anyway.
