As promised, some pictures of the cracked stardust - it was a pretty big surprise to wake up from my nap to find that the brand new clear stardust I'd filled less than 2 hours before was now a clouded, cracked mess with a melted drip tip!

The tip on the top is new, bottom tip is melted, and malleable - I can scrape the rubber off with my nails.

Good morning everyone!! Wow Cheeky... who knew Cherry could do that to a Stardust!!! I thought it was mainly cinnamon's that did that. Pretty funky looking!
I ordered new batteries yesterday from RTD,, and the Xtar charger you recommended, Glen. These ones I have seem to work just fine, but I'd far rather be safe than sorry.
Had big plans to wash my car today, inside and out but got up this morning to rain!! It was supposed to be nice today!! So no car cleaning for me..

Barb is loving her KGO.. we went over last night to play cards and I gave her lessons on how to fill her cartos. It's funny,, she's pretty excited about it and is trying to convert her daughter. I had ordered her a big bottle of the White Peach ala Zoe, she thought that was all she needed... but I snuck a small bottle of blueberry in there as well and now she's all excited about ordering some cotton candy flavors! I took one of my KGOs with a DCT on it to show her, also a stardust... AND I took my lavatube,, just to show her and boy, did they laugh!! Steve said... you have gone WAY too far!! I know, but it's my new hobby! She wasn't much interested in the tank, but the stardust intrigued her. I cracked some joke about a woody last night and they were hysterical... so now I have to email her a picture of a woody just to show them that there really is such a thing! OMG... we laugh like idiots,, til our bellies hurt and there's tears running down our faces. We always keep a box of kleenex handy.. and I couldn't even tell ya what the hell we found so funny (well, other than the woody thing) but we think we're pretty hysterical... always have fun with them.

Last night I ventured into the world of direct dripping, and all I can say now is I understand what everyone is talking about. I dripped 3 drops of my favorite juice (ECB Dragon's Blood) on my LR atty @ 2.1ohms, set the voltage to 3.7v, and took 4 puffs in fairly rapid succession. The flavor was great, the vapor production was excellent, and I almost immediately caught a nic buzz. I can see this becoming a morning routine where I setup the atty before I go to bed at night and hit it in the morning for that much-needed jump start.
This morning I've been dripping exclusively and I've dropped the voltage down to 3.2v. It's still producing great flavor and vapor, but it's bringing out different notes in the flavor when compared to 3.7v. So far, I haven't had any issues with leaking using the 510 atty and only dripping 3 drops at a time, but I'm sure I'll be getting a few drip shields sometime soon and some different atties to try. I'm also going to have to learn to pace myself with dripping because I can't hit the atty as much as the clearo of Vivi without getting a nic buzz.
Just a quick tip you can use or pass along: If you or someone you know is getting a 510 atty for an eGo/510 connected device, get the 510 to 510 adapter. Without it, there won't be any air flow because the air holes on the 510 atties are in the connector, not the atty casing like the 901/306 atties.

I knew cinnamon, some mints, and citrus bases could do it, but I'd never heard of Cherry doing it, either - Iron monkey was SO disappointed (and really thought he'd done something wrong. Poor guy lol). I filled a fresh stardust with Strawberry for him this morning, and he sent me a text from work telling me how much he loved his "starburst" lol I love that man

YAY!!!! You've discovered the joy of dripping! I'm impressed that you haven't had any leaks! I think I'm a little heavy handed with my juice when dripping - a few dry hits & I'm gunshy & loving my drip shields
Guess this means I don't have to introduce you to dripping next weekend
Today I learned that when a girl hits a certain age, her aunts decide it's time to start asking when they'll be able to wish her a Happy Mothers day
I haven't had the heart to tell them that unless they count Princess Kitty and the boys, it's probably not gonna happen... Wondering if Iron Monkeys mom will be making the same inquiry when we call her later! She does ask about her grandbabies, but she's referring to the fur kids - she even sends her "grandbabies" presents for their birthdays, christmas, etc. She's a pretty awesome Maybe I can borrow a baby to appease the aunts next year...

Its so great it makes it really difficult to go back to a tank, just haven't found anything that can give me the same....welll anything...that dripping can. Tanks are really for convenience and solo DRIVING :0) Wait until you get 306's or even try i06s....you are not going to believe the difference. I don't even bother with 510s anymore. The only problem is that 306s aren't standard...which you would think that by stating it was 306 would mean that its the same darn thing, NOT SO....just know that when you get there not all 306s are made equally (all different sizes, they all hit/taste different etc.) the only commonality is that they are all 510 connections...I still haven't figured out why they can all be called 306 they are all so different!
I may be able to chat with y'all a bit more than usually tomorrow...Jury duty, yea me. But CA is on the one day system which if you don't get on a trial, after that day you are considered to have fulfilled your service and since I'm a paralegal, I NEVER get chosen for a jury...NEVER, once they find out what I do, I'm always the first one off...I guess I know just enough law to be dangerous...IDK but it makes it easy to get out for the day

Good morning everyone,, and hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.. I say furry kids count too! The skies cleared up here and the sun came out so I finally was able to clean my car.. get rid of all the salt and sand from winter. Glad to get it done but all that bending over with the vacuum hose... not good! Spent the rest of the day on the couch with my TENS unit...
Listening to you guys rave about dripping makes me think I should be trying it! Maybe another day though,, I have GOT to stop spending.. at least for a little while. Would it count if I used my EgoC?? You don't actually have to drip cuz it uses cartridges but I've really had very good luck with that thing.. perfect for testing juices.
I'm still having issues with that darn vivi.. I tore it apart and ran it under hot water and then dry burned it. It seems to be working a lot better but still get some icky hits. I think the regular ol DCTs work a lot better.
I hope I get my new batteries this week.. I had one on the charger all day yesterday,, and I mean ALL DAY and the indicator light was STILL red when I went to bed last night.. that just cannot be right! I think I should just put the LT away until I get those new batts.
Jury duty.. what fun! They never pick me either, my ex is a retired police officer and once they hear that they let me go. A couple years ago I was part of the jury pool for a big murder case here,, HUGE jury pool and I sat in that courtroom for five whole days before they got to me,, and dismissed me, just like I knew they would. Talk about boring!! But it'll be a few years until I get called again.

Mythus - yikes for Jury duty, but good to know that you're unlikely to get picked (you too, Luv!) - I've yet to be called for Jury duty, amazing lucky considering I've been a registered voter since the day I turned 18 lol Hoping to keep the streak alive for a while. I honestly wouldn't mind serving, but would hate to get stuck with a crazy case. My mom was the forewoman of a murder trial when I was a teenager, and was sequestered for a week or so. It wouldn't have been so bad - I was a teenager, so mom gone for a few weeks meant parties while my stepdad "chaperoned" (which meant slept - the man fell asleep by 9pm like clockwork! ), but we had a foreign exchange student at the time, and she was a wee bit homesick, plus, she was sequestered for my birthday
Anyway, I hope they get to you early in the day Mythus & that you're able to go out and enjoy a day away from the office!
Luv - next time make hubby vacuum the upholstery so that you aren't chained to a TENS! (also, check out the H-Wave. H-Wave® by Electronic Waveform Lab, Inc. They're insanely pricey, and most insurance won't cover them, but if you can get your hands on one, they're like a TENS on steroids! Per my PT, they're generally used by pro-athletes, etc because they get much deeper than the TENS, and are cleared by the FDA for use as an anesthetic in some applications. I get the giggles every time the dial gets turned up during treatment. They're pretty nifty, and I'm going to see if my neurosurgeon can talk the insurance company into giving me one for recovery after surgery )
As far as your batteries, it stinks to lose the use of your LT for a few days, but better safe than sorry. The fact that they aren't charged after a full day of charging, combined with the noise you mentioned the charger making previously doesn't sound like a good combo to me. I hope your new batteries and charger arrive today, and that you're able to use them with no problems going forward!
Today should be a good vapemail day for me - I'm expecting a nice big box from ECBlend, my order from Discount Vapers - yay!

They would need to apply the pads for you, but can leave you to your own devices to up the voltage as you see fit as long as the machine is within reach, and might be able to give you some ideas on how to save a bit of money if you want to purchase (or might let you come in for sessions once in a while - the affect is cumulative - pretty awesome technology!)

Hi folks, I just came across this thread and love reading your stories. As for me, I've been a smoker for right at 35 years and until recently smoked 2+packs/day. About a month ago, I finally got sick of it and started up with V2s. While they're okay, they just didn't cut it (though they did get me down to around 10 or so a day), so Friday I ordered an E-power kit from CCV. Amazingly, it arrived this morning! Of course, the fact that my juice orders from ECBlends and Mountain Oak arrived at the same time. Definitely happy dance! Long story short, I grabbed one of the 1.7ohm LRs that came with the kit, filled it with Exotic blend from Highbrow, and took off. Wow! I'm amazed! It's like going from a Honda Civic to a Mercedes convertible (not that there's anything wrong with Civics ;-) ). I can already tell that I won't need no more stinkin' cigarettes!

Cheeky, I'm already there, lol. I'm planning on getting some LR attys for dripping and some Boge 2.p LRs just to see the difference between them and my 1.7s, lol. And don't get me started on juices! I'm approaching my cig budget for this month already and I find I don't really care!
Lol, just order 15 Boge 2.0s from CCV. Wasn't planning to, but I called him to let him know my order arrived and how much I enjoyed it and he reminded me that his Mother's day sale ended at noon. So another $18 spent, lol. Now, if someone can recommend some good LR attys, I'd be golden.

The bridgeless atties are pretty nice, but I'm not in love with the ones I have. I think Mythus might be able to chime in and recommend one - I hear great things about the 306's
Will the 306s fit on the E-power? I've got a different outer cone than the kgo. I know, for example, I can't use a Stardust.
I think they will - the 306 threading is the same (I believe), as the 510.
And you should be able to use your stardust with a 510-Ego adapter - easily found from most vendors

I got a couple juices from Hella Vapor on Saturday,, two of them were tobacco blends, and you guys know how I feel about those.. why do I keep trying tobacco's? IDK!! Those two will sit and steep for a bit and maybe they'll improve but I'll tell ya what I really like is the Icy Plum Drops.. that one is awesome! Icy cool, not minty, with a blast of sweet plum.. I vaped that all day yesterday.. The other one was Heather's Heavenly Mocha Java Smoothie.. best coffee vape I've ever had. Any coffees I've tried have been dark and bitter, which is strange cuz I drink my coffee as dark as I can get it. The Mocha Java has a little hint of coffee but theres a smooth sweet something to it.. quite nice!
I just loaded up my EgoC with some of that SV101... hey, it's good!! What is that in there?? It's pretty darn good!!
Cheeky,, the PT dept at the hospital where I work doesn't have one of those big units.. all they have is pretty much the same thing I have, and I had to pay for the one I have, my insurance wouldn't cover it, even though it's prescribed. Damn, I wish I could find one of those.. my little unit does pretty well but isn't able to touch the muscles around my hip, and those are the ones I have the most trouble with. Makes my whole darn leg ache like a toothache..

Any coffees I've tried have been dark and bitter, which is strange cuz I drink my coffee as dark as I can get it. The Mocha Java has a little hint of coffee but theres a smooth sweet something to it.. quite nice!
I just loaded up my EgoC with some of that SV101... hey, it's good!! What is that in there?? It's pretty darn good!!
Cheeky,, the PT dept at the hospital where I work doesn't have one of those big units.. all they have is pretty much the same thing I have, and I had to pay for the one I have, my insurance wouldn't cover it, even though it's prescribed. Damn, I wish I could find one of those.. my little unit does pretty well but isn't able to touch the muscles around my hip, and those are the ones I have the most trouble with. Makes my whole darn leg ache like a toothache..

Glad you're enjoying the samples - now you know why I love my deejstuff! Honestly between ECBlend and deej, I"m not feeling the need to go juice happy anywhere else these days, even with great sales! I know, I can't believe it either, but I think I got tired of trying juice after juice and being disappointed, especially knowing the ECB and deej have yet to disappoint me! I've found a few juices that weren't good fits for me, but even those tend to be good! I think there might be a tobacco or two in your samples - try them! I don't like tobaccos, but there are 3 from ECB that I now have in 50mls that are happily steeping while I finish the 30mls I received recently
SV101 is a coconut, chocolate & hazelnut concoction of goodness, one of my favorites! I think I've managed to make a pretty close replica with the Wizard at ECB - if it steeps as well as I think it will, I'll order a big bottle and send you a sample to try! I should warn you that it's best dripped, or in a Stardust (or other clearo probably). Cartos seem to mute the flavor a bit too much for me - maybe the Vivi?

I'm a little bummed that your hospital doesn't have an H-wave for you to try.. I wonder if you could contact the company and find out if there are any facilities in your area with them so you can try them out. They really are great, and it sounds like it would be a good fit for your specific needs

Did you just get the Stardusts on sale with the short wicks, or did you pick up the new version from DV?Also, about dripping.. Have you ever dripped a flavor that just doesn't seem to want to go away? I have the Creamy Vanilla flavor from Unsmoke.us, and it's really dry. Not bad, but not real good either, just meh. I dripped about 4 drops in the atty and the flavor dominated the atty for a good 90 minutes, through several other drips and a couple of dry burns. I won't be doing that again.

I got a combination of V1 & V2 Stardusts
The V1s are bright red, and were on clearance at DV. I also picked up a blue V2 from DV (they seem to have medium length wicks), and the 3 from the classies are v2 with super long wicks (all the way to the base of the Stardust!). So to answer our question, I picked up a little of everything!dripped flavors that won't go away! Ack!!! Try soaking the atty in alcohol - that should help get rid of the flavor you're not fond of
