Mom tried my V2s and my E-power, and unfortunately, they both choked her. I think I'm using too high a nic level for her (18mg). Too bad; I really want to get her off the nasty sticks. Think I'll order some lower nic levels V2s for her to try on my next trip home (I'm flying back here for my birthday).

Did you try dialing down the the voltage somehow? When I have a newbie "hit my stic" I always have to lower the voltage to 3.2 or 3.3...its not really the nic, unless they are getting a bout of sudden nausea and headache.....once I forgot and had my sis' new beau take a hit at 4.8 with a SR atty and he just about coughed his head off for about 5 minutes...too funny...

I'm more than a little irritated. Remember the coupon code from TVR that I got for a free bottle because someone told them I recommended them? I ordered my free bottle plus a couple other ones, which I received today. Then I get an email. It says that coupon code was not meant for me, should not have been used by me, and unless I can come up with a valid coupon code, they will be charging me for that free bottle. EXCUSE ME???? That coupon code came to me in my email so if you sent it to me by mistake, that's YOUR problem and if you charge me for that bottle you can BET that I won't be back. I'm ......!

Mornin', all! Hope y'all are have a great start to the long weekend!

Thanks for the advice about the baking soda. Got the burnt beans right out! Oh and for those of you who aren't in the know: Red Beans and Rice is the dish. You cook dried kidney beans all day, with sauteed onions, celery and bell pepper. You add smoked sausage and any other leftover meats you have ( I've got Mom's ham-bone from Easter in mine), some Creole Seasoning, and crock-pot all day! You add cooked rice at the end. It's a great, filling dish and the leftovers freeze very well. I generally make a big batch and freeze a bunch of individual servings. It's the perfect thing for when I've got night class and don't have it in me to cook.

I tried a few more of the ECB flavors. Absolutely love the Thin Mints. This is the perfect after-dinner vape! I'm not that impressed with Dragon Dreams; don't know if I've been spoiled by HB's Orange de Sangre, or if I need to let it steep a while. The Peach cantaloupe watermelon's pretty good; not as good as Zoe or MOV's Georgia Peach. I've also got HB's Peach Thymbra to try before I make a decision on my favorite peach. Still got Green Monster and Dragons Tears left to try as well. Oh well; some many juices, so little time, lol.

I am SUCH a happy girl today!!! No,,, no vapemail, still waiting on that darn Evolution Tank.. but hubby and I went to the casino after work last night,, and I WON $600!!!!!! And he even came out $120 ahead. Not that it makes up for what I've lost over the last few months or so.. but still!! I ordered myself a Kindle Fire this morning, with a case before I could do something stupid like pay bills with it. Well, I'll pay a couple bills but I've been wanting that Fire for a long time. I'd REALLY like an Ipad but I know me,, I wouldn't be happy with the bare bones $400 model,, I'd have to have all the bells and whistles and I'm not willing to spend quite that much. I'll be very happy with my Fire.

Welcome back, Mythus... where ya been??? We miss ya around here. Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed with that TVR deal. I've had such good luck with everything I've bought through this whole journey,, never a problem like that. It won't happen again, not there anyway.

Placed my ECB order last night,, oh my, it was a big one! And since I have a few extra dollars I might just have to place a Deej order too. Barb and her daughter are going to come over sometime this weekend for a taste testing session.. I can't wait to hear what Sherri says about my tool box (heehee). Those two are quickly becoming juice junkies too and I love it!

Have to go back to the bone cruncher today.. I can't even tell you how much better I feel!!! No drugs at all since I started seeing him.. I'm sore, but I feel about 2 inches taller.

Pretty sure Cheeky has her big doc appointment today,,, wishing her HUGE good luck with that.

Hello fellow vapaholics

The doctors visit didn't go as expected - all of my problems have been with my low back & SI joints, plus some odd dropsies & numb hand issues. The neurosurgeon believes that there is compression of the cervical spinal cord, and I'm scheduled for a cervical MRI on Tuesday to confirm. If he's right, I'm going to have to have least 2 levels in my neck fused before starting work on my low back & SI joints. (If there is compression and they don't fuse the neck first, they run the risk of paralyzing me from the neck down during intubation for the other surgeries. Grrrrreat.). I'll know more after my appointment on Wednesday. The worst part is that I won't be able to use nicotine, so I'm going to have to start ordering 0 nic juices.... and I have such a nice stockpile of 12mg!!! *sigh*

I'll pop back in later - still hoping to grab a Bella tank at tonights sale

The ex wife texted and asked if I'd take the baby this weekend. I've said all along that I did NOT agree to raise those kids. I hate to be a ....* but I'm not going to work all week and then spend every weekend with those kids. Not my job. I'll take them when I can, but I'm not going to set that precedent... been there, done that. We started taking them on the Sunday's that hubby was off work and now it's an expected event. And she gives us crap if we don't take them. Excuse me, but YOU volunteered for that job. And hubby is working midnights and has to sleep during the day. How's that gonna happen with a screaming baby in the house? Sorry, but no.

I've spent a good share of my winnings today... my Kindle, a good chiropractic pillow to sleep on, some stuff I've been wanting for a while and haven't had the funds to get.. and hey! None of it was vape related!! Ohhh, I looked. And pretty sure I'll be looking around tomorrow, cuz I just can't help myself but with that last ECB order I think I'm pretty well set for a while.

I was hoping for better news, too, but... it is what it is. I'll start stocking up on 0 nic from ECBlend and deejstuff to get me through - My guess is that I won't be allowed nicotine for at least 2months for the ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion - the will have to remove most of at least one disc & then fuse), and then we have the lumbar & SI joint (bilateral) fusions to deal with, so.. there might be a lot of 12mg juice up for grabs in the next month or two! (I have at least a years worth of 12mg - such a bummer!!!) I'm not too worried about throat hit - I like a mellower vape, anyway, and generally order 50/50 or lean towards a heavier VG vape, so it should be easy to bump up the PG if I think I need a little more throat hit.

I am putting my foot down & refusing to have ANY surgery before VapeStock. I intend to have a fantastic time and vape my head off - WITH nic, thank you very much!

Yikes about the babie - I'm sure the ex-wife could use a break from them, especially if they're as difficult & troubled as it sounds like they are, but you're right - you didn't sign up to raise more babies, and your hubby does need sleep. Tough situation for everyone, I'm sure.

Will have to be a small one as my Long Term Disability hasn't been approved yet (gotta love getting a notice from your LTD advising that they're unable to approve with information provided on the same day you're told you will likely need cervical fusion or risk paralysis lol), and I *think* I scored a Bella tank in tonight's sale I know I didn't get my first pick, but I'm crossing my fingers that I got my 2nd pick!

LUV....I love Chiros.....I love feeling like I'm 3 inches taller walking out than walking in...and there is such a relief with each *crack*! I had a really good one several years ago but he passed away (very sad story really he was in is 40s with 2 little ones at home) and haven't been able to find another as good yet...My boss is a PT by education and she thinks they are all quacks but I tell ya, I always felt better with massage/chiro combo...utter bliss... Crack away I say!!!

Oh I just LOVE my new chiro guy.. he's young, very forward thinking. He actually trained as a medical doctor, spent some time in Chicago as an internist and quickly became disenchanted with traditional medicine. I work in the medical field and I have no faith in it either. Oh, the crap you see in this business!!! And believe me, it IS a business. Seriously, you come to the ER with an ear ache and we have to check your urine and your thyroid??? What the hell is that??? THAT is the insurance companies will pay for it, so we'll do it.. ridiculous! Anyway, I've been fighting with this pain for 5 years, doctor after doctor with no relief. This guy has me feeling like a new person in three days.... THREE DAYS!! I'm a fairly intelligent person, why didn't I think of this before??

Breakfast at the casino sounds dreamy! I hope you make it,, and I wish you all the luck I had last night (cha-ching!)

Guess I should get to bed,, I've got flowers to plant tomorrow.. supposed to be near 90.. better dig out the sun screen too or I'll be like cheeky was last weekend... ouch!

Funny that your boss is a PT & thinks chiros are quacks - my treating PT (and the head of the PT group for the spine institute) is also a chiropractor and doctor of osteopathy. He might be an overachiever, but definitely not a quack!
I hope you find another good chiro soon Mythus! Maybe pick up one of the new agey free magazine (health food stores always have them!), and see if you can find one advertising there - they tend to be really good, well informed, and usually integrate chiro with other forms of holistic medicine for a whole body approach

Your new Chiro sounds fantastic Luv! How great that he has an MD background - he probably has a great grasp of how everything is interrelated and how best to treat it! Hold on to that one - I bet he can help create big changes for you in the coming months!!!

OMG - ER's... when Iron Monkey took me to the ER after my accident (it was the day after... day of I was in shock & went to work, cuz I was fine, and I'm really freaking stubborn! No really, ignore the fact that I'm crying & can't move, I'm fine!!! lol) - they ran a pregnancy test because "it's policy", and charged over $600 for it - SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A PG TEST?!?! I can buy one at Walgreens for 6 bucks!!!! WTF?!? OMG lol 600?!?! And my insurance paid it!!!!!! WTF!!! This is why my premiums are so high? Is this why healthcare isn't affordable for the average person who isn't covered under a group plan? Holy smokes! Ridiculous & amazing.

So the sunburn from Monday is still fierce & going strong - had the PA take a look at it yesterday (hey, medical training is medical training!), and she thinks I managed 2nd degree burns... they'll probably rx something for me if it's still bad when I see them again on Wednesday. When I do something, I like to do it well. Like the accident. Go big or go home, right?

Oh! I got my 2nd choice in the Bella Tank sale last night!!! I got F3, Sedona Sunset - absolutely gorgeous!

I can't wait for it to arrive so I can fill her up with juice & vape away while admiring her sparkling, shiny beauty on top of the provari!

I think I'm going to spend this weekend vaping myself silly, coming up with a 0 nic game plan, and remembering the people I love who gave their lives in service. RLTW!

Cheeky - Sorry to hear the news about the required medical procedures, but you seem to be taking it in stride. I can't imagine having to go through all that AND having to go 0 nic at this stage in the game, but you say your stubborn (I prefer strong willed) so I'm sure that will help you get through. It does seem outrageous that your insurance would be charged $600 for a pregnancy test, but from what I understand that amount covers the test, lab fees, technicians, and the subsidies for those that aren't insured. Even will all that it's overpriced, but I think we all know just how broken our health care system is in the country, so no need for me to go on a rant about it.

Congrats on the new tank, and I'm sure it will look awesome on your precious! I keep looking at the Phiniac tanks, and maybe one day I'll spring for one of those.

In other news, today is not a happy vape-mail day for me. I just checked the mail and my DV order that shipped (priority mail) on Monday still hasn't arrived. In fact, the tracking number that was emailed to me doesn't even register in the USPS web site, so I have no idea what's going on with that one. I've emailed Eric at DV, and I'm sure he'll look into it and make good if the package was lost, but it's going to take time to do that and we're in a long weekend so he can't even start querying the P.O. until Tuesday. Also, I hate that he'll have to eat the cost of replacing the order and shipping again if it really is the fault of the mail system.

But looking on the bright side, the 510 atty that I got a couple of weeks ago is still hitting great and I have a few of the new Stardust clearos to keep me going. So, all is not lost so long as I have my drip gear for home and my clearos for when I'm out.
