Funny, the PA & assistant to the surgeon said something similar yesterday & wished that all of their patients were more like me. My response was that I have to go through all of this whether I have a good attitude or a bad attitude, the only difference is that it's much more pleasant for everyone involved if I stay positive and upbeat about it! Can't begin to imagine (nor do I want to!), how much more difficult it would be if I were a crabby, negative mess - it wouldn't do me any good, and would probably only serve to increase my stress level and decrease my chances for a positive outcome, so positive it is. It's not all sunshine & happiness, I do have whiny, crabby, why me moments & days when I wish I hadn't gotten out of bed the day of the accident, I think that's pretty normal, but for the most part it's just easier to deal with all of the changes & issues with a positive attitude :)

The phiniacs are beautiful tanks! I've heard nothing but raves about the tanks - I have my eye on a sandblasted one, and will probably order the next time they have a great sale going on :)

Yikes about your DV order Glen! If you do run into a little emergency with atties/cartos/stardusts, let me know - I have plenty & I'm still happy to share if you need them! We're not planning anything exciting for the weekend, so just pop me a message if you need anything :)

It's apparent that you've got the best attitude that one can have given your situation, and I completely agree with everything you said. Being positive in the face of tough times and tough decisions is not easy, but it almost always helps things work out for the best. This is how I try to approach my life and all the (admittedly small) issues it throws at me. You, dear woman, are awesome! :D

I really like the etched phiniacs, and I'll probably get a green music tank after I get the precious (ProVari). That would look great on both the precious and the woody, I think.

I appreciate your offer to help me though any shortages (again), but I should be fine with what I have. I just placed another order, which will be my first with Crystal Clear Vaping. I ordered a couple more drip tips, a 5 pack of the XL 1.7ohm resurrector pre-punched cartos, and a 3.5ml DCT in lime green with the polished aluminum caps. The new tank should help me learn how to use the DCT setup better since I can see the juice levels (where I can't with my wood DCT), and the resurrector cartos have been getting great reviews.

So, while this week was a disappointment for vape-mail, next week should be very cool with the DV and CCV orders, and custom drip tip coming. And then the blue LED will become available for my precious next week and that order will be placed.

Anyone else starting a healthy collection of drip tips? They just keep ending up in my cart, even though I don't really need them.

Glen.. I love the resurrectors from CCV. I've ordered several times from them and had really good luck. I'm liking tanks a lot lately too. I do find, though, that I have to make that little hole just a tad bigger to help the juice flow a little better. A little finishing nail and a hammer,, a little awkward but it does the job. I think I'll surf the vendors and see if anyone has a good sale on some SR stardusts.. (here I go, shopping again!)

I agree, Cheeky is amazing. I'm not sure I could stay so positive in the face of all that. I've had my own issues the last few years and I try to remain positive too, but I've had my share of melt-downs about it. I seem to be on the mend however,, and truly wish the same for my friend, Cheekster!

I have a lot of drip tips too.. I just get the cheapies though, and some of them just won't fit on some of my cartos. I don't have any of those fancy-dancy ones you guys have. I guess I'm afraid I'll like em and have to have more of em.

Pretty happy with all I managed to get done today.. planted my flower pots out front, weeded the garden, swept all the nasty spiders off my front porch (ick), swept off the helicopters and cleaned the gazebo. Enjoying a nice cup of coffee, with a banana vape, going to cook hubby some dinner before he goes to work and then go do my Wallly-world run tonight. WOW,, that chiropractor is doing his job well if I can do all that:)

Vape on, friends!

You two are so sweet, thanks  I'm going to be on the mend very soon - it might take another year or two, but I'll be back to dancing on tables & singing along to my favorite bands soon enough :D Okay, I might never be up for dancing on tables again (I miss Summerfest!), but I should be able to get out more often, and... it's all good - there's a silver lining to every dark cloud, you just have to find it, grab it, and hold on :)

One of my silver linings is having had the opportunity to meet all of you! If I hadn't had my accident, the odds are very good that I wouldn't have had the time to play on ECF, start the vapaholics thread, or meet any of you. I may never have started vaping, either... there are all kinds of good things that come from not so great situations, you just have to look for them, and I wouldn't give up knowing my sweet, wonderful vapaholics for anything in the world :)

Glen, I know you *should* be okay with what you have, but if that changes, let me know and we'll get you set up :)

Drip tips... I'm in love with the SS ming tips I got from the last co-op. In fact, I like them so much that I'm buying another 5 in the 2nd round, and would recommend them to any & everyone! They are solid SS, well made, great mouth feel, and are really beautiful on everything from an ego to a provari, AND look great on both the REO Grand and mini! I got 5 for myself the first time around, will have 10 once the 2nd co-op order comes in. $18.10 (shipped!!) for 5 SS ming drip tips is a GREAT deal, and if any of you are looking for a nice tip, you really can't beat these. They're much nicer than they appear to be in the photos, are only nominally more expensive than the cheapo tips, and should last for years, no matter how many times I drop them! (ooh! Neck fusion should cure me of my dropsies! Woot woot!! I'll be able to use my trippy tip without fear :) )
You really ought to check them out Luv - they're seriously inexpensive but wonderful - I haven't used another tip since I got them!!! (and I'm trying to figure out how to make them work on a stardust because I don't want to use any other drip tip lol). They're fantastic. I think I'm gushing again lol Think of them as the Zoe ala Cheeky of drip tips and give them a shot - if you don't like them, I'll buy them from you! How's that for a guaranty? :) I wouldn't mind winding up with 20 of them if all of you got a couple and decided you hated them - that's how much I love them :)

Luv - I forgot all about helicopters, I haven't seen any since I moved here, and now I'm a little homesick!!! I love those darn things - they always made me smile :) Your chiro is working wonderful miracles on you - I'm so happy for you!! You're getting so much accomplished, and it sounds like you're doing it pain free!!! HURRAY!!!! Give that man a big hug the next time you go in for an appointment - I bet he will be thrilled for you - I know I am!!!!

OK OK OK.... I'm in. I'm getting three of them. I hope you're happy!! ;) And I'm still at Tropical Vapors,, now I'm looking at that Ego E-power. I know it's one piece, but for $20, and I already have batteries.. I don't know, still on the fence about it. See, the trouble is, since I fried one of my KGOs, and since I know these things aren't designed to last forever.. I'm terrified they're all going to crap out at once! The other night at the casino I burned through two batts and was down to my last one.. horrors!! I would NOT have bought analogs, but boy, I would have been ......!!! Things weren't fully charged when we went,,, lesson learned! I guess I'm just really liking the non-proprietary batteries..

ok,,, gonna go look at that epower again.. (heaven help me!)

YAY for SS ming drip tips! You're going to love them :)
Why not just bring your LT to the casino along with a spare battery or two? Then you don't have to worry about them dying on you while you're winning big, you can just vape away :smokie:
I haven't used my kgo in a while - they're nice for backup, but...I'm pretty hooked on being able to just swap out my batteries!
So... since you have an LT, why get the e-power? :)

Cuz the LT is just too big and bulky.. it kinda embarrasses hubby. I know, whatever, but I get enough funny looks, can you imagine if I was toking on that rocket launcher??? I've got a cone that will go on the Epower, I know it'll be bigger than my KGO but it'll look sleeker than the LT.. yeah, that's what I tell myself  It was $20,, big deal. HEY.. I just rediscovered ECB Mimosa.. I had it in a tank and forgot about it.. quite nice!!

LOL!!! maybe you should get a stealthy little PV like a gripper or a REO mini or a mini GLV? Or.... a mini LT? :)
Or, you could get some little silver batts - they're super sleek & sexy! Someone at the last vapemeet had a SS 1000mah ego - we popped one of my slim silver tanks and a SS ming drip tip on it, and it was gorgeous! Made me want another 1100mah ego in stainless just so I could have admire it lol

Hey all,

Just wanted to chime in on the SS being sleek & sexy. I bought 2 650mah Ego-C Twists for out and about, and I've got to say that the Twist with a Stardust is a thing of beauty. Even clearos with a SS drip tip and the SS Twist are HOT!!!

Use the $20 towards a Twist instead of the E-Power, I'm planning on getting 2 more in 900mah :D

Where's the best price you're finding for the 900mAh Twists?

Ooooh Cookster! SS Twist with beveled chrome capped tank topped off with a SS ming drip tip... I might need to do THAT!!!

Verry Snazzy. I even dremeled a SS Bud long cone to fit my clearos/fluxos...looks amazing!

Hey Bu, haven't started looking yet. I just converted my darling daughter this weekend, so now I have to spend next week's allowance on her  Let us know what you find please.

On another note, got my Phoenix/CE3's from Eric at Discount Vapers (THE BEST), and I like them sooo much more than the Stardusts. I found alot of flavor loss with the Stardusts, but these CE3's hit like a champ! Dropped my first one, and cracked the plastic...but an old clearo/fluxo tube fits perfectly...good thing I'm a pack rat as well as a vape-a-holic :D

The CE3 pack and the CE6 tank are on my short list and will probably be on my next order from DV. I have the E1 Revive and CE5+ coming now that I should have next week to try out.

I think Eric is looking to get the 900mAh Twist in stock soon as well, so that might be a good place to get them since he'll likely have the best price.

Oh I just LOVE my new chiro guy.. he's young, very forward thinking. He actually trained as a medical doctor, spent some time in Chicago as an internist and quickly became disenchanted with traditional medicine. I work in the medical field and I have no faith in it either. Oh, the crap you see in this business!!! And believe me, it IS a business. Seriously, you come to the ER with an ear ache and we have to check your urine and your thyroid??? What the hell is that??? THAT is the insurance companies will pay for it, so we'll do it.. ridiculous! Anyway, I've been fighting with this pain for 5 years, doctor after doctor with no relief. This guy has me feeling like a new person in three days.... THREE DAYS!! I'm a fairly intelligent person, why didn't I think of this before??

..

Hey LUV any chance your guy knows anyone out here in North County San Diego????????
