luvinit - Sorry to hear about the fraudulent contest, that really sucks. At least, like you said, you didn't have anything but time and some hope invested in it. I'll expect a full review on those CE3s when you get them because their on my short list to try, but based on the reviews I've read so far, they may work out well for you.

Congrats on the win Mythus! Apparently the vapaholics should be playing Powerball - you ladies have been lucky lately!

You'll have to post pictures of your new Trippies when they arrive Mythus, and you're going to love your mini!!! The REOs are wonderful mechanical mods that will take a serious beating and still pump out clouds of delicious vapor for you! I know you're an atty girl, but take a look at the smokTech super shorty 1.7ohm cartos - I'm not sure if it's the minimal amt of filler or something else, but they don't seem to mute the flavor of the juice, they last a ridiculously long time (I've been using the same cartos for more than 20ml each, and they're still going strong without a cleaning!), and they are adorable on the mini. Remind me to post pictures later
Hoosier seems to have the best price on them 5 pack of 1.7ohm single coil 510 cartomizer by Smok Tech . I'm considering gathering interest on a co-op for them, but it's going to depend on surgeries, etc.

So this past week we did this become a better manager thing at work. Of course these always start with a personality test. there are 34 categories...the top 5 are where you live most of the time...your top 12 are very strong in your personality and get progressively weaker in your overall makeup as they appear lower in your list (of course assuming that you answered the questions hoestly) No can you believe nothing warm and fuzzy in my top 12????? nothing at all... but achiever was #1 which means I have a ridiculous need to achieve something everyday...workday, vacation day, weekend day whether logical or not, which, is pretty true to my character. You will be happy to know that I checked off my achievement for today...did a bit of experimentation..used my new gal of PG and gal of VG to cut down some of my DXF dragons...it was a bit on the strong side even for me...and it worked out beautifully!!! Also put together a straight 50/50 10ml just to have around. Yea me!!!

I think that test was actually pretty accurate...my hubby thinks so too. He said yea I know...you're a type A personailty prone to depression duh...we've only be married for like 18 years, I knew that!!! But, he is right of course that's me!!! maybe I need to add that to my signature??? .. "I'm selfish, impatient, a little insecure, a type-A personality prone to depression...."

Well this computer is getting hot in the sun...time to put it back in the house...its just to beautiful for me to sit inside!!

I am so sorry that your Evolution Tank might not be happening! What a huge disappointment for you. I can't imagine why someone would run contests and not follow through on the prizes, or sell something that never ships - I would think that maintaining a positive reputation on a board like this would be pretty important to succeeding in the vaping industry! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the tanks & juice DID go out on Thursday (or Friday), that there isn't any tracking info because of the holiday weekend, and that you'll both have wonderful surprises in the form of delicious juice and new tanks in the mail this week!

Love that you've forgotten what the prize for the bingo contest is! I don't have the patience for contests like that - I usually get in on a round, and then can't keep up with the thread, so I always seem to drop out after a round or two

Today has been pretty uneventful here - I napped off and on for a good part of it, and am going to spend whats left of the day with Iron Monkey & the fur kids

just got back from the bone cruncher.. dam, I love that guy! I do seriously hate the whole neck snap thing though.. makes me yelp every time. But it's helped so friggin much I just have to let him do it. Anyway,, Mythus, he said he doesn't know anyone in San Diego, but he did say look for someone that uses "diversified technique". He said you can look them up or just call and ask them. Also there's a really good chiro school in southern Cali,,, anyone graduating from there would be good too. SoCal School of Chiropractic maybe?? Something like that. But the key is diversified technique.

That contest I was lurking yesterday is on-going.. it's kinda like a bingo game,, each round you pick numbers from a grid.. dam, it's time consuming! Heaven forbid you be gone and miss a round! It should be almost over though, cuz the grid is almost full. Hell, I gotta go back to the beginning of the thread and see what the prize is, cuz I forget!!

Is it GotVape Mega Prize thread??? I've done that from time to time...good chat too!!!!

Speaking of contests.. remember that Evolution Tank I "supposedly" won? There's been issues with that. First of all, I haven't received it yet. This Sharpi person who ran the contest told me she'd ship it last Tuesday, even gave me a USPS confirmation number. I kept checking it, no shipping info. On Friday I get a PM from another girl that supposedly won one of those in the first contest (I won the second contest) and she hadn't received hers yet either and didn't even have a tracking number,, it had been about 10 days for her. She got a random PM from some guy that said this sharpi person was a thief and a liar, that she'd likely never get that tank, and that this lady was being sued.. well, this does not bode well! To make a long story short,, she and I sent messages, most of which went unanswered but over the weekend she did respond to both of us. The delay was because she wanted to include some of her juice with the tanks and was waiting for her labels to come in. Never got her labels so she says she handwrote some labels and shipped the stuff out on Thursday. Well, according to USPS, she did not. Karla (the other winner) said over the weekend she found out that even people who had paid for tanks have never gotten them, sharpi's supplier thread has been shut down and it's looking like we're all SOL. At least I didn't have any money invested, but it's pretty crappy. I've always had such good luck,, I've won a few contests, for juice mostly and always had great communication from the vendors and had the product in hand within a few days. Too bad this loser screwed those people that paid. Oh well,, I've got some CE3s coming and judging from SteelJan's review, I think I'm going to prefer those anyway (I hope!)!

Bummer...I don't understand why someone would do that???? Maybe to seem legit so some people would buy and they could steal money?? Other than that why would you do a fake contest?? It doesn't benefit anyone and you gotta do a whole bunch of work to seem legit??? That really sucks and just a reminder that we through all the great experiences we have on here we still have to be careful, it is still the internet I suppose...Thank God all you invested was time...no money involved...

Well Mythus, I have to say there wouldn't be much warm and fuzzy in my top 12 either.. I'm kinda known as the bi*** of the 3:00 shift I'm really not that evil, but darn I hate stupid people!! Really, just how many times do I have to tell you the same dang thing? Don't you worry about that stupid personality test.. hate those things! And we love you the way you are anyway

Went to the casino, it was not nearly as kind to me today My first $40 lasted about 3 hours and then it was downhill from there. But it was fun. Hubby and I went and had some Chinese and then we stopped at Drunk Bob's I'd never actually met the guy, and I didn't know his wife either.. but she's a lovely person, I really liked her a lot. He has a little man-cave in the back of his garage and he's got a dart board back there. We must have played at least 10 games of darts.. these people are serious!! They're darts cost $80!! And Drunk Bob lived up to his name,, and now hubby is known as Drunk John

Got a call from my son in the middle of all that.. my oldest granddaughter, she just turned 9, tripped and put her arm through a window.. gashed it pretty badly. She was on her way to the hospital in the rescue squad with her mom and Andrew was home with the other three kids.. there's pics on fb. Poor baby!!! She's most upset about not being able to finish out the softball season.. and Andrew says it really sucks cuz she's one of the best players. Ohhh, she's gonna be hurting tomorrow. So I'm feelin bad for her tonight..

That contest I've been in all freakin weekend.. it's Vapors Choice, and I think it's almost over. The mod says he'll announce the winner in the morning.. there's only a few numbers left on the grid so it SHOULD end tonight. The prize, I think, is an Ego battery kit with tanks.. I can't find the part of the thread where the prize is listed.. it's game two so it's somewhere in the middle and I don't have the finger dexterity to scroll through all those pages! I love these stupid contests on here!!!

Reidus must be really busy with his family.. hope he had a good time!

I'm a major type A too - nothing wrong with being an "Achiever", it just means that you like to get stuff done, and you probably like it to be done right the first time (so you probably try to do it all yourself....)

I'm sure there's a lot of warm & fuzzy in my top 12, unless someone is incredibly stupid and doesn't learn from it, or is just a miserable, unpleasant person. Then I become a little vicious & my well sharpened claws come out, but in such a nice way that the sting of the spanking tends to be smoothed over, & the person on the receiving end thanks me for it I occasionally get pushed too far though & then the gloves are off, sugar coating is gone, and the person on the receiving end finds out exactly why they're an idiot. In detail. With bullet points when appropriate. Man I miss my job!

To echo Luv, we love you just the way you are Mythus - you're pretty darn fabulous!

Luv, I'm glad you got to (finally) meet Drunk Bob & his wife! Sounds like you might have some fun new friends, and your dart playing skills will definitely improve!

Saw the picture of your Granddaughter - love her outfit! Looks like the meds were pretty darn good, too! I hope that cut heals quickly & doesn't scar too badly - poor thing! She's a brave little girl, and she's going to be happy to get back to softball when she's all better!

Alas, I did not win the contest.. dang, that was long! Not sure I'd ever get involved with one like that again. Took up way too much time,, and then when I wasn't on, I was wondering... did I miss a round or two?? Addicting, like everything else around here!

Have any of you guys seen anything about Gotvapes new Alpha program? Basically, if you're invited to be in it you get new products at reduced prices to test out and then they decide if they'll offer it up to the public based on how the Alpha members like them. Kind of like a beta tester, I guess but you don't get the stuff for free... I think it's a great idea. And dannoman PM'd me last night and asked me to be in it. I'm pretty excited about it! Mostly, I guess, because I spend money on lots of different things that I'm not sure I'll like or not anyway so if I can save someone else the trouble, I'd like to be able to do that. And I'll be among the first to try out some of the latest/greatest stuff. I think it's pretty neat!

I checked on my Kindle this morning and it left NJ at about 3am, says it won't be here til tomorrow but I still have my fingers crossed that UPS just might get it here today. I'm thinking I should have other stuff coming today though.. anxiously awaiting the mailman (as usual!)

Oh I had AWFUL dreams last night.. my grandfather, who's been gone for over 30 years was schooling me on autism. And I just knew it was about the four year old grandson we have here in town. It was SO REAL. One of those dreams where you're pretty sure you aren't really sleeping yet. And there has, actually, been talk about the little guy being autistic.. high functioning, but autistic none-the-less. Freaked me out enough that I had to get up and walk around. Then the other one, also pretty sure I wasn't asleep yet.. someone was laying on top of me, assaulting me in a not-very-nice way.. and I swear I could feel actual hands on me.. and I knew John was beside me asleep and I kept trying to scream to him for help and nothing would come out.. I was up for a while after that one And we had the mother of all thunder/lightning storms last night.. nearly constant thunder,, one big roll after another and the lightning was so close it looked like daylight at 3am.. it was a nasty one, but I love those storms.. I'd be right out on the porch watching it if it wasn't the middle of the night. So I had a long night..

OH OH OH.... The mailman just pulled up!! Shall I meet him at the mailbox??? YES!!

Oh yeah,, and Andrew said that Kairi had no meds in that picture. And she sat there and watched them put 14 stitches in her arm... brave girl! I'da been out like a light!

Mailman brought me my Kindle cover (no Kindle yet!), my capsule filler and my ECB order.. hard as it is,, I'm going to let all my new ECB stuff sit for a few days... (yeah, we'll see how that works out!)

I have to admit that when I first tried the Zoe ala Cheeky dripped in my atty, it didn't fully appeal to my sense of taste. I didn't think it was at all bad, but the flavor combination just didn't hit right for me. However, after letting steep for a couple of weeks I filled up a Stardust this morning and very happily vaped it all day long.

I sort of had the same reaction to boiled peanuts and Skyline Chili where my first taste was, "Hmmm... This is interesting.", and then a few days later I was thinking "Damn! I need me some more of that!". And for you Northerners, if you haven't tried boiled peanuts, you'll need to do so if you ever come to Florida!

Boiled peanuts are addictive! I have a gas station about 2 minutes from my house that has the best Cajun style boiled peanuts I've ever tasted. It's the kind of Cajun seasoning that leaves your lips tingling after you eat it and it's just good stuff.

You haven't tried Skyline Chili?!?!?! Oh, my dear woman, you are missing out. It's a Cincinnati chili recipe that's served over spaghetti with mounds of shredded cheese on top. (Now, I'm getting hungry). There's two of them in Clearwater, one on 19 and one on S. Gulfview, and those are the only two I know of locally.

There's a convenience store a few blocks from us that has boiled peanuts - I think I'm going to have to pick some up on my way home from the Neurosurgeon's office tomorrow, and I'll have to ask if they have cajun style, too! Yum yum yum... I think the thing that's hardest to get past on the boiled peanuts front is that they're in crock pots on counters in nearly every gas station & convenience store around here and they look so gross lol (I now have the commercial running through my head of the guy who is trying to diet & hires the "popular" girls to follow him around & say "ew, seriously? That is so gross!" lol)

I don't know if it's an entire pound, but it sure looks like it when you get the plate. My guess is that it's there to counteract the chili and keep you from running to the bathroom every 15 minutes.

As for the boiled peanut crock pot looking gross, I concur. But then, it's kind of like real good barbecue where it's the beat-up little hole-in-the-wall places around town with the smoker outside that have the best stuff. Think of it this way, sometimes you just have to give your immune system some exercise.

Oh yeah, you had to mention Mexican food. There's a place on N. Dale Mabry in Carollwood called Vallartas that has a lunch buffet that's just killer. Their regular menu stuff is great too. Not as awesome as SoCal Mexican food, but really great for this area anyway.

I haven't tried Taco Bus, but some of the people at work have been raving about it so I guess I'll have to check it out now.
