I'm definitely putting the mini on my birthday list. Though if they had any Woodvils available, they'd definitely be on my b'day list instead. They look awesome!

What I really like about the Mini is that it probably fit in my pants pocket easily. That's why I like the Smokbox as well.

YAAAYYYY.....Yes, very much pocket size...actually I think the Woodvils are the same size as the Grands and the size difference between the Grand and the Mini is not that much...a friend of mine just sent me the comparison. I'll find it tomorrow and post. So you can properly and thoughtfully add to your birthday list ;)

There is a learning curve for REOs, and that includes leaning to squonk properly to avoid flooding/ leaking. the review you mentioned with the complaint that if you squeeze too hard & lay the REO on its side it will leak, IS user error. The squonk can be tough to master, especially as the necessary pressure of the squonk varies depending on whether you are using an Atty or carto, what length carto (shorty, regular, XXL, etc), and how much juice remains in your bottle. I still over squonk sometimes, usually when I put an Atty on.

That said, Foxy Roxy and my precious are in a very tight race for title of favorite - they are both wonderful mods and I wouldnt give either up. I'm hoping I can use Squonkette the Grand with more ease after surgery, because I love the added capacity and life span she offers with a 6ml bottle and 18650 battery, and the fact that she kickable.... :)

Short version: REOs can have a steep learning curve, but is worth the effort (and once again, a drip shields steps in to save the day by removing the mess factor :smokie:

The dilation reversal drops don't work on me,, I usually take the day off since I can't see for the whole day, but decided to chance it today.. hope I can get my face on before I have to go to work  Vape on friends,, if I can see, I'll check in later

I need some strategic advice guys, before I continue on the path I'm considering. Sound ominous right? :p Here's the thing: my first device, my V2, is a 3.7v device. My next device, my beloved E-power, is a 3.7v device. The REO mini that I am putting on my birthday wish list is a 3.7v device. Finally, I'm strongly considering the Smokbox (it looks so cool, lol), also another 3.7v device. Am I foolish for focusing on devices with the same voltage? Or does it make sense, given that the same cartos and/or attys should work equally well on all of them?

Sweetie, the main thing is, if you're happy with your setup. That being said, I've found I enjoy vaping between 4-4.4 volts. I have three VV's that can go to 6 volts, and I never use it. I think the highest I've gone is 5 volts., and at that voltage most of my juices taste a little burnt. The voltage doesn't really matter if you put the right atty/carto/clearo on.

I would STRONGLY recommend, if you can afford it, to try a 650mah eGo-C Twist. Under $25, 4-6hr battery life, and VV from 3.2-4.8. This would show you if you can keep at 3.7, or if you like higher voltages. Then, you could go from there.

Just my :2c:

Actually, I think I've changed my mind on a couple of things. First, I'm not going to put the REO mini on my birthday list. I'm going to follow Cheeky and Luv's example and wait until one pops up on the classys (if the folks on the forum ever get off their asses and verify me, 24 hrs my ...!). Instead, I'm going to give them this link:

SmokTek "SmokBox VariCool" - Custom variable volt Box Mod - Efficient switching regulator! adjustable 3,4,5,6.5 volt's & everything between.

It's gotten great reviews, goes from 3.3 to 6.5 and it allows me to see how I feel about box mods. I don't think, however, I'll ever take this one on a plane; it looks too much like a detonator device, lol.

Yep....Its all about what you like!!!

Edited to say that you might want to invest in something that will give you something that you don't already have. Yes, you like 3.7 but what if you like VV? and the ability to move from 3.7 to 4.8 even if you NEVER go above 5.0? Here's my mama gene shining through...how do you now you don't like it if you never try it.....also keep in mind that you have a good chance of recovering a good part of your $$$ if you end up not liking a mod by selling on the classies.... its not just money out the window. Where as with TC your money just went up in smoke anyway, right?:smokie:

LOL! Mornin' Myth! Hope you're having a great day so far. And yes, REO does make a VV Woodville, when they have them, lol. Which is almost never, from what I've read. I was reading about the process last night: you register with Reo, then you keep an eye on the site for him to announce the next sale. When the sale comes up, you hop right in and order, and hope somebody doesn't beat you to it! It's like Ebay, except you don't get much (if any) time to look at the item before buying it. I'm reminded of those videos of the bridal shop in NYC that has an amazing sale once a year; the future brides literally come to blows over dresses (gotta love a good catfight :D ).
