Although the Smokbox's not without issues as well. The prime one being that I'm always irritated when the vendor that sells a device doesn't sell batteries for it.
If you're looking at the SmokTek 3.7v smokbox I sent you the link to last night, Rob does sell the 14500 batteries on his site, there is even a spot on the page that says "make it kit", and you can add your 14500 batts, charger, cartos & even an extra set of batts.
SmokTek "SmokBox" - Custom 3.7 volt Box Mod - A Personal Vaporizer with Power!
{snip} (oh, and btw, tomorrow is 6 months for me

) Anywho.. the reason I sold the lavatube was because I just never used anything much above 4.0 and I had a terrible time with cartos on it. Most of what I had just plain wouldn't fire on it. That DV box is pretty nice looking,, too bad it's out of stock. As for me,, I'm going to get the 1000mah Twist. I don't think I've seen even one bad review on the thing and it's cheap as dirt.
Did the bone cruncher this morning and then my eye appointment.. if there's typos, I apologize, still pretty dilated and things are pretty fuzzy. I finally decided to get REAL glasses.. I had cataract surgery, both eyes, 9 years ago and have been using dollar store readers all this time. Which the doc says is just fine but man, is it a PITA with the glasses-on/glasses-off thing. I'm always looking for them,, on my head, on my shirt, in the bathroom, in the car... ARGGGGG! I bet I've got a hundred pairs of the stupid things around here, and you know none of them fit right. With my insurance, real bifocals will cost me $50 so even if I hate them I'm not out a whole lot. And yes, I was VERY young for cataracts! Not fun surgery, btw, you have to be awake for it, while they're digging around in your eyeball.. sounds gross and it is.
Got my lavatube and goodies packed up and ready to ship out to the guy in Canada.. I also went through the juice stash this morning and came up with a freakin TON of stuff to get rid of. I had to make room, y'know! I replaced some of the cartos in my DCTs this morning and boy,, things are really tasting wonderful today!! And I've refilled one of my CE3s three times and it's still working great.. I remain very impressed with those.
XL2 Battery - Black
LOOK AT THIS!!!! This is shweeeeeet!
Congrats on 6 months Luv!!!
Yay for selling your LT! I need to put my black one up - I don't need 2 LTs plus my precious - Iron Monkey has no interest in VV!
You had a busy morning between the eye doc & the bone cruncher! Hope you got crunched good & that everything was clear in your eye appt - you are MUCH too young to have had catarax surgery. Yikes! So glad it's taken care of
All of my remaining juice is going up on the classies today - I'm keeping just enough to get me through until my 0 nic orders start coming in, and to have a small amount left over for emergency use - and since I'll be cutting the emergency stash with 0 nic of the same flavors, so I'm only getting 6mg, it should last a good long while!

Ovale V8 Incremental VV Kit
comes in white too
You don't happen to like white PVs, do you?
No, I mean really...
If I remember right Woodvill comes in VV....
Yep, and the VV Grand should be coming out this weekend!
LOL! Mornin' Myth! Hope you're having a great day so far. And yes, REO does make a VV Woodville, when they have them, lol. Which is almost never, from what I've read. I was reading about the process last night: you register with Reo, then you keep an eye on the site for him to announce the next sale. When the sale comes up, you hop right in and order, and hope somebody doesn't beat you to it! It's like Ebay, except you don't get much (if any) time to look at the item before buying it. I'm reminded of those videos of the bridal shop in NYC that has an amazing sale once a year; the future brides literally come to blows over dresses (gotta love a good catfight

).
REOs are extremely popular mods that are all lovingly hand made by Rob (different from the SmokTek Rob

). The very first run of the VV Woodie came out about a month ago, and the first run of VV Grands should be coming out this week, assuming nothing else goes wrong (They were supposed to come out over the weekend, but there was a problem in the anodization shop). His mods are extremely popular because they are beautifully made, work like a dream, and are kind of like collectibles - there are people who have families of REOs - 10, 20, even more - one for every outfit even lol
The REO Grand & mini are entirely mechanical, and can take a SERIOUS beating - they can fall in a pool or lake, take a spin through the washing machine, even get run over by a truck, and still pump out vapor & flavor! I believe there is an 18490 model coming out soon as well - it will be the mid size between the mini & the Grand... I might need one.....
The woodies are a little more delicate since they're made of wood, but also beautifully made, and built to last. Rob stands behind all of his work, and is happy to take a look at & fix any problems that might arise from user error or abuse.
The sales on his site can be absolutely insane. Prior to the sale, Rob will post photos of the mods that will be available, and there will be a button below the picture that reads "alert me when available" - if you click it & follow the steps, the system will automatically email you when that mod goes up for sale, so you have a shot at grabbing it before one of the serious REOnaughts does. It is a first come first serve sale, and competition for the woodies & VVs is fierce, however when a run of the Grand or Mini comes out, there is a little more time to buy, simply because they aren't a new model - still wonderful, beautifully made & high quality (you could pass it down from generation to generation lol), but they aren't the newest model, so you'll have a few days, maybe a week or so to grab one (unless it's a popular color, etc).
I highly recommend a REO - Squonkette the Grand & Foxy Roxy the mini are 2 of the favorite mods in my house - Iron Monkey is googoo over Squonkette, and Foxy is my almost constant companion
Also (not sure why this didn't multiquote!), there is nothing wrong with having a bunch of 3.7 devices! With all of the carto options available, you really can get the warmth & flavor of VV vaping with a 3.7v - as someone else said, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try a twist - for 25$, it's a cheap & easy way to see if you'd like VV vaping on a larger scale, and you can always try a larger Vari-cool box
SmokTek "SmokBox VariCool" - Custom variable volt Box Mod - Efficient switching regulator! adjustable 3,4,5,6.5 volt's & everything between. they aren't as big as they look in the photo (most APVs aren't!), and there's a little dial inside the box that you twist to change your voltage - easy peasy
I'm positive I'm missing a few posts & I apologize for that!!
Happy vaping Monday!
