The acrylic drip shield is a good inexpensive start to see if you like it, and the gyro tips are fun - I have one in hot pink The thing to be aware of with metal tips is that they can get hot if you're chain dripping or vaping in general. (one of the many reasons I rotate devices lol)

My favorite drip tip atm is aluminum.I've got a question though: On the Empire site, I looked at the 510-510 adaptor, and it says specifically not to use on bottom-feeder. I'm guessing that because the atty is raised, it can't feed from the well. If that's the case, then I'm guessing the shield would be out on Wilson (I like that name : "Always listen to Cheeky!" )

My guess is tht the 510-510 adapter you're looking at on the Empire site is a "sealed" adapter, meaning there are no little holes in the bottom for the juice to feed through. You can easily use any adapter that is UNSEALED on a bottom feeder & squonk to your hearts content with it

If you need a charger, I would recommend this one instead. It comes with a car adapter and can charge 2 batteries at the same time:

I'd looked at that one and wondered why on earth you'd need a car charger for batteries that last all day? But it's ultimately a good idea; + it charges 2 at a time, and it's the same site as the drip tip, saving shipping charges.

I got notification that my Precious shipped today (ProVari standard, satin silver w/ blue LED)! Also, picked up my Prius from the dealer this morning and it's rockin', the Resurector cartos are rockin' in my tanks, and the E1 clearo is rockin' on my eGo pass-through.

That's actually not very much money-wise. Less than $35 for the lot. Considering the list is supposed to be for the entire family (sister, b-in-law, adult nephews, etc.) I need other suggestions. What do y'all think of glass drip-tips? Empire has some great ones.

The only time you would need the car adapter is on long trips, but it's nice that it's included and the price is good. I'm going to be picking up one of these as a backup charger for my Pila.

I was looking at those for Woody, but for about the same price I was able to get the custom wood drip tip from Lewis using the same type of wood as my mod, and the same block of wood as my tank. Ultimately, I gave in to the idea of getting the custom tip made, and it was definitely worth it. Those glass tips are very sharp though, and I'm sure at least one of them will make it's way to my house eventually.

For you Woody fans, there's a very pretty Hog over in the classys. She's asking $90, but she sounds desperate. Canary and purple-heart. If I weren't already getting Wilson, I'd be all over it.

I'm definitely going to get a custom wood drip tip; but it won't work for a birthday present, considering I'm flying home to celebrate in 10 days. I still don't know why Mom wanted to fly home on the 15th, when my b'day's not until the 24th, but what can you do?

I might just add a gift certificate from Deej. My sister and I have a long-standing tradition of exchanging Amazon gift cards. That girl loves her Kindle; I like mine (especially when I travel), but I prefer having a real book in my hand if I can.

Your list looks good Reidus, but you might want to pick a different adapter - the one you've got from DV doesn't look like it's an unsealed bottom, meaning it couldn't be used on a bottom feeder. You could email Eric & verify.

Try this instead: 510-510 Adapter (Unsealed) it has an unsealed bottom so you can use it with the bottom feeder.

Yeah, I think the reason I've had no success with dripping is that my juice was too thin. Does flavor go down as PG does?

Yes, VG does tend to mute the flavor. I have some of my juices at 50/50 (when I have a choice) some at 70/30 PG/VG. I do have a few at 80/20 (no choice). Have I said I really LIKE the flavor??? But as long as you stay 50/50 or higher I don't think you will find that big of a difference in flavor and you can always order extra flavor to compensate.

I thought so. That's why PG is added to so many foods; it's a flavor carrier, at least from what I've read. Good point about the extra flavor. I'm going to order more Pomegranate Champagne tomorrow, this time in a 50/50 mix, rather than a 70/30. I'll bump the flavor from 125 to 150.

I already know I'm gonna need a battery charger for him. I'm probably gonna add a good atty, since I still want to try my hand at dripping. (BTW, hth can a 306 atty fit on a 510 device? )
