Vape and use Smokeless Tobacco? What do you use?

Respondents needn't have been using the smokeless products themselves for 2 months.

Just need to have been smoke free for 2 months or more and currently using an ST product to stay that way.

Yep, 23 and the majority using snus, followed by those using both snus and snuff.

This is one that going to run a long time before it generates any large response.

Funny thing happed.
I use to smoke atleast 2.5 packs or marb reds a day and eat 1 can of Grizzly mint or skoal sourapple.. but i havnt touched either since i got on the vape train. i can vape at work so theres no use in jammin my mouth full of chew

I was originally smoke free just from vaping, but have some cravings (alkaloids) that would just not go away. I could have lived with these craving since they were not that strong. A week ago (don’t yell at me olderthandirt), a bought a tin of Camel snus and I have been using it nightly with good results. It definitely reproduced most of that “relaxed” feeling I have not experienced since I quit smoking. I will use it sparingly, since I do not think I really need it; but it did satisfy a desire that vaping does not.

The Camel products are readily available in the states so they are a great way to try and see if snussing is something you want to try.

If ya were to pursue it the Swedish snus is simply less expensive and is much better, IMO, at the nic delivery.

Though I wasn't able to endure the Camel snus more than twice..., as long as it works to keep your head on straight, that's the bottom line . I'm a mental case so the potent Swedish snus is all my doctor will let me have.

Hey olderthandirt, I was just kidding. I know all you guys look relatively unfavorable to the Camel snus. I was just at the gas station and saw it and remembered all the reading I did about it, so I decided to purchase it. I thought it was OK; however, I have absolutely nothing to compare it to. I know all the Swedish snus is far superior (at least that’s what all you guys say) and one day I may order some and try it. As a snus-newbie, the Camel snus seemed ok. In addition, they were selling tins for promotional purposes for only $0.99.

RJR Camel is looked down on by me due to pricing along with product transparency.

The Swedish manufacturers make public and accessible product information such as oh, I don't know, how about ingredients and nicotine content. They may well be required to by their government but none the less it is avalable.

Try getting that information from RJR. Uh huh... I have. The information may well be available be ya gotta practically do headstands to get it and when you do the information presented is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated...

I actually spoke on the phone with what passes for customer service and after being put on hold 3 times I was told that the nicotine content was "not available for public disclosure at this time"!!

Arrgghhh. Old guy rant.
