I just dried the connection and it's working. Let's see if that fixes it for good. Nope, atomizer short again.

Is this a coil that screws into the base?

If so, take the coil out completely, and use paper towel to make sure all your threads are clean and dry - both on the coil and on the tank where the coil goes, as well as the 510 threads of the mod.

Then, screw the coil in until you think you have it in tight, then, using another paper towel, grab the coil and put some umph into turning the coil some more - it's likely to give another full rotation turn, possible two.

Then put it back on the mod and try again... see if that helps.

When I was first using a tank with screw in coils I thought I was screwing them on tightly enough, but I wasn't... I used a paper towel so my fingers didn't slip and was able to get another full rotation in and it solved the issue I was having.

I'd say between you getting a short message coupled with leaking into the 510, that coil is likely not in there securely enough.

Do you only have the one battery you got from the vape store? It could be a battery issue. You may have purchased a rewrapped forgery that is causing problems. In addition to a battery charger, I would suggest getting two batteries from one of the following sites.

    18650batterystore.com
    batterybro.com
    illumn.com
    imrbatteries.com
    liionwholesale.com
    orbtronic.com
    rtdvapor.com

You want to get two, so that you can charge one as you vape with the other.

If a new battery doesn't correct the issue, then it's probably a glitch in the circuit board. Since it's still under warranty, you should take it back to where you got it. Regardless, if you are going to use a mod with an external battery, you should purchase two good batteries and a good charger.

These batteries are not anything like the Energizer or Duracell batteries you buy at the grocery store.

You also need to know that new cells come with a storage charge level. That's about 40%-60%.

it's understandable that a new lithium cell right out of the box will approach cutoff very quickly unless it's charged to full charge level before using.

I'll bet a chocolate LG that this is what the problem is. It exactly matches what he says in the first post.

Been using LG HG2s for years without issue.
My guess is the vape shop had old batteries.
Always buy from recommended suppliers with high turnover.
The last batch I bought from 18650battery, they gave me the codes on them before buying and I looked up the date of manufacture. They were fresh, made 5 months before purchase.

21 devices. None work. Wow. Boy, you could probably tear up a steel ball bearing. Nobody here has given you bad advice and have been super polite about it. Unfortunately, I'm not always polite. The truth can be painful. I call user error here. On all 21 devices. You obviously don't know what you're doing and even more obvious you dont want to learn. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

"In conclusion, based on current evidence the saying originated in one of the twelve-step communities. Anonymity is greatly valued in these communities, and no specific author has been identified by the many researchers who have explored the provenance of this adage. The linkage to Albert Einstein occurred many years after his death and is unsupported."

"Electronic cigarettes will prove to be far less a risk to individual well-being and the health of societies than combusted cigarettes. I believe the technology should be embraced, and it's use supported vigorously by the public and by government." - Albert Einstein, 1951.
