I have been off analogs for a week now andjust vaping. wasn't sure where to post this but It seems like the vapor and nicotine are getting thicker like it's not that enjoyable. I figure maybe my taste is changing but might it be that now I am over the nic nic nic vape vape vape and moving to less nic or vap not so often... a diff flav. anyone gone through something like this after a week and I didn't see anything but is there a section of the forum for people that are quitting that would like to chat with each other about what they are going through???? it seems all geared toward what fancy new equipment to get of flavor and then e cig success stories but nothing like hey we are quiting and this is what its like for us.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by thicker...

Just that the taste is getting to be too much? Too peppery kind of? You may need to cut the nic if this is the case. Bear in mind though that this may mean you need to step up your vaping amount to keep up with your body's nic needs.

Or is it a burnt or nasty taste? May be time to change your atty/carto/whatever you are using, or clean if appropriate. What are you vaping with?

Possibly the flavor of the juice is not what you thought it was a week ago. Welcome back, taste buds. It's been a while! ;) I had this happen with a couple of juices in my first few weeks. I had a cappuccino and a jolly rancher watermelon that I loved one day and hated the next. I couldn't even stand the smell of them any more. Maybe it's time to explore some new flavors.

If I haven't hit it yet, provide a bit more information and maybe we can figure it out. :)

I don't know if there is a specific forum like you mentioned, but feel free to post your thoughts, struggles, triumphs, and victories anywhere. There are a lot of people here, and whatever it is I'm sure someone can relate. I struggle with the analogs still, although I hesitate to use the word "struggle" because I did not enter this with an all-or-nothing attitude. In fact, all those bp NRTs do not allow this sort of attitude. And ya know, that is probably why I failed on every single one of them. Multiple times. I bought my pv on a spur of the moment whim and decided if I want to smoke I'll smoke, but I'm gonna work on this vaping thing. And I think 6 packs of analogs in just shy of 2 months is pretty dang commendable, if I do say so myself. :D

ETA: I just reread your post and thought to add: You mentioned maybe not needing as much nic. That may be it, too. If you are really enjoying non stop vaping, like someone I know over here on this side of this laptop ;), you could try dropping one level in the nic content. Or try vaping less, if that is how you feel like approaching it. That's one of the many great things about vaping- it is very customizable! (Yeah, I know that's not a word.)

Well, I'm going to post my usual 'push water' post. Maybe you are dehydrated. Drink more water than you think you need to help flush out the cig toxins and to help you get your taste buds back. Losing taste in eliquids is periodic and quite common even with experienced users.

You don't have to worry about chain smoking unless you are ODing on nic. Lots of experienced vapers chain smoke. There is no right or wrong way to vape, and don't forget, you are not getting as much nic and are getting it slower when vaping as opposed to smoking cigs.

couple things... I think it was a combo of the flavor and the years of crud buildup and possibly the dehydration it started yesterday then last night my chest got real congested like I smoked 2 packs of analogs or something and I couldn't even vape without choking on it. the flavor and thickness of the vape most of the day was almost like it was too much and thismorning it just tast horrible I tried a new carto still nasty. I had been vaping a mix of the nuport menthol and watermelon(my wife says it smells like nail polish remover) I loaded another new carto with an apple frost and it seems better. It may just be that my taste is coming back and it was time for something milder, it may be that I was congested from being dehydrated and it may be that I was starting to go a little overboard with the nic, oding a little which made the juice seem thick and nasty... I guess it could be that since the nic doesn't absorbe as well my body adjusted down in nic consumption making me require less than I been pumping in. hmmmm I guess it could be a lot of things at least I didn't have an analog. I had no intention of quitting analogs when i started vaping it just was so easy to not smoke and vape instead that I am now a week clean.
