Vape leaves residue on windshield?

It REALLY is great being able to keep the windows rolled up while I vape in the car. However, I've started to notice my windshield becoming increasingly blurry, especially at night. It seems that some type of residue or film is building up on the inside of my windshield. It is quite difficult to clean, even with windex. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing and what causes it. Thanks!

I smoked in the car, the same thing happened with cigarettes too. Yeah I have noticed it, and it is hard to clean.

Good point. I wonder if it has something to do with the way the pg or vg takes moisture out of things?

Another thing you may want to look into is the vehicle itself. If you have a coolant leak, it can actually make it's way into the cabin. It can be worse if you have the defroster on too, since the air hits the windshield directly.

I have the same problem. It's definitely the vape. When the sun hits a certain way, I am amazed at the amount of residue. Gotta clean that windshield.

As one would think Research is needed to detemine definites related to pg/vg absorbtion in the lungs.

well, glad to see others are having this issue, so at least I know it's not a supplier specific thing. Though, I'm not really glad... It's gonna take a lot of elbow grease to clean all these windshields!

Best auto glass cleaner hands down: Stoner's Invisible Glass. Walmart carried it for like 5 dollars a can. Two passes with the spray and a wad of black&white newspaper cleans it off in a minute

Vinegar, little bit of dish detergent, little bit of water in a spray bottle and wipe with newspaper. No streaks and lots of shine.

Yup! I used to use a vinegar/water solution to wash the tar/nicotine film off my windshield when I smoked analogs. If it can get that crap off your windshield it stands to reason that it will remove vaping residue

Same film build-up here. I use a microfiber towel. No chemicals or solvents needed.

I can tell you, i have it in my car, and in my house windows. However, we used to smoke like chimney's in here, and since I'm the only one to clean the windows, the difference is obvious. Film vs. HELL ON EARTH BROWN OUT. My window casings (plastic) are permanently stained yellow from years of smoking, I doubt vaping will do that.

Safer, I'd agree with that. (though not 100 percent)

Haven't noticed it much on the windshield - maybe now that it's cold and snowy here it might start building up (since the windows will be up). I've noticed it on my glasses though =)
