Vape mail, hiding expense from husband !

Well, I told my husband that I am going to the vape shop today and that I have three packages coming in the mail and he jokingly said"Your spending a ton of money". I know by his tone of voice and his smile when he's joking. (been married 42 years) And I replied, "No I am not. I am saving money in the long run and look how good it is for my health".........He just laughed. I am relieved and feel better about the situation now .

Men are like that.


He'll just go buy something for himself later and justify it with your purchases.

See? He actually likes that you are stopping smoking trying to get healthy.. No worries

Tell him that it's important to you, and that there will be some trial and error. It will cost more to get started, and to get a setup that works just the way you need it to. But it's something you really want.

I bet that's all it will take. He sounds like a great guy, sometimes you have to have a little faith in people (including yourself!!!)

I would never lie to dh. However, he knows I have a Debit card just for ecig vendors. After all this time I just never talk about it. If he asks I will tell him. LOL he usually does not want to know. Of course, he knows I will shop around for bargains/coupon codes. I make my own liquid. I did show him some prices of "gourmet e-liquid". He had a good laugh.

I installed the NCI Quitpal app for iPhone to track cigarette savings and it has an added "GOAL" so far in 1month of spending $500 in vape gear im already at $218 saving NOT spent in cigarettes...by that projection 1.5 more months to pay off my vape gear that will ultimately last longer than a cigarette.
