Hmm, no note on door. Filled out electronic authorization form so they can deliver without signing

Watched the carrier drop off the junk mail at 4:00 pm. What the heck? Again, no notice.

Caught the carrier and asked about my fasttech package. She says she has the printed authorization but not the package.

Called the post office. The package went out on a different route. That carrier says he'll drop it off at my house after he's completed his route.

Waiting for package to arrive at 5:07 pm

Hopefully he'll show... Story at 10:00

Update: At 5:10 pm USPS delivered and I have my goodie.

I dislike demonizing the USPS but this time they came through!!! Thanks to carriers everywhere. I'd hate to have your job.

USPS also marked my delivery as left note, no one home. I was home (waiting) and no mail was delivered to me or my neighbors at all that day. It was only a small package of juice that fit in the mailbox and no signature required. You're darn spanky I called the post master and complained. It was a Saturday with a temp driver.

I believe that the mailman is supposed to attempt delivery by knocking on your door before leaving the delivery notice ... If I had seen what your mail lady did, I would have been on FIYAH! So you are much nicer than me ... and yeah, I would have also tracked her down on foot for my vape mail. :glare:

Back during Christmas time I was waiting for vape mail, for which the tracking said "out for delivery". Like so many others, I was stalking my mail box waiting for my precious vape mail. The mailman came, but didn't deliver my package  I also live in a cul-de-sac, so I ran outside, and around the circle to the mail truck (in my jammies and coat) and told the mail man that my tracking said out for delivery, and asked him to check his truck.

He insisted that he didn't have it, refused to double check his truck as I politely requested, and just kept telling me that he didn't have it. So I went inside and called the local post office, asked to speak to a supervisor, and explained the situation ... she put me on hold for a few minutes, and came back to the phone with an apology, and explained that my package was in deed on the truck, and that Mr. mailman would be back at my door shortly to deliver it .... 10 minutes later I had my vape mail. :)

Moral of the story: Don't take no for answer, most especially when it comes to your vape mail. :D

I received some today actually, good times!

We're so lucky, our mail carrier is the best. She even leaves treats for our dogs. She knows that I do a lot of home canning and has left me several empty canning jars and a note, saying someone gave her something and didn't care about the jars so she give them to me. I make sure she gets jams and jellies that I make every year. This is the only postal person I have known that cares about her job and the people on her route. kinda nice for a change

They just throw it on my porch going 30mph in their little post office cars that have the steering wheel on the wrong side.

EEK! don't order any glassomizers! I ordered three replacement tanks for my AGA. one broke on the way, but the other two were fine. There's really nobody to blame for that though, five glass tank sections + battery + ss tank in one package is kind of a recipe for at least one getting broken. (luckily, only one). Coming from China through who knows where, it's kid of expected.
