I enjoy e juice when It's made fresh. Aging (Steeping) usually makes it taste bad to me. To me, If a juice doesn't taste great fresh there is no hope. Like another guy or gal said, It could be brand of Nicotine.

If you get into DIY deep enough, you will find there are many factors that dictate when a Blend will be ready.
Plain Fruity and some Drink flavors can be vaped right away, but become better over several days. Fruit flavors will also go flat fastest.
Complex mixes can take weeks to come together properly.
Custards are generally a 3 week minimum for full flavor.
Many tobacco flavors do not shine until 1-3 months after being blended.

Yeah I have never DIYed. Thanks for the input. I might try it out this year.

I fixed the issue now it's been a while since I've been on here. I think it was due to not steeping and vaping the alcohol in the flavorings as I typically use it up so fast I don't have batches on hand and I am also getting sick of the same flavor as well sop been trying to lay off for the time being. that and my coil I guess it was just time to replace it and it tastes a lot better. the coil I was using had been in there for a while regardless I clean it they still gave off a burnt flavor.

on the other note I did try and buy some premade juices not sure if they were pre steeped as usually they are but got a 3mg juice and it was still harsh at 100vg. going to upgrade my mod and RDA and see how that goes in the future and possibly steep the juice I buy for a few days and let it breath for 12 hours see if that helps. some juices I buy online are fine but the ones I get in stores here are just very harsh

Jacob, I believe it was expressed that you did not provide enough information for anyone to help you with the situation. What Device and RDA are you using? If your DIY has too much flavor, the flavors will taste burnt and some can gunk up your coils faster. If your juice is 100% VG it is too thick and won't wick so you are vaping a burnt coil. You could also have your wattage too high and need to turn it down, or like stated your nicotine may be too high and you need to bring it down to under 6mg.
Are you using a Tank with the RBA section, or a RDA (dripper)
Before you spend money on a new set up, I would want to figure out where the problem is so it doesn't happen on the new set-up as well. if you changed the coil and still have this problem, a new mod may not solve the issue.

So I went back through the older post and it looks like your coil resistance and wattage settings are fine. How about changing your wicking material. I have noticed that all organic cottons do not vape the same and I have had some that seem pretty harsh or just don't taste good. Try some cotton bacon that works best for me on flavor and smooth vape

Have you got a different RDA to try on it? Also have you ever got a good vape on that RDA? If not you may just want to disassemble it and wash it real good and then rebuild it and see if that helps. I had a new RDA that I washed before using and it still seemed harsh and I washed it again and it was much better.

yea I do but the other rda is smaller and causes more issues like leaking because the juice well is so tiny. at this point my mindset is on a new setup haha. just posted a thread looking for a new mod if you want to chime in on that one.

will wash it out for the time being but I should have a new set up by the end of this week so I can manage. taste is better when my juice steeps and breath not much burnt taste

I just got the new IPV5 and am loving it. I have the Tsunami RDA on it and it's a great pairing. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I'm looking at the snowwolf finally found a site still instock that or the tesla 200w box mod can't decide
Cool, I don't know much about those 2 mods I have a friend who has the older Snow Wolf so I know it pulses, that may be something you have to get used to. I would check out some you tube reviews on the devices you like and see which would better suit you.
