Honestly, and I'd never go into a REO thread and try posting this, The REO is not some super special high tech mod.

However, I clearly see its Value and Consumer Draw. Coming from to many years in the Automotive industry, I can clearly see where the design is a winner.

REO is actually a very simple concept designed around minimal parts and maximum quality(Almost - see upgrade kit)
Like Provari and other high quality builds, REO is built to stand the test of time.
What makes the REO Good and a step above most is its almost all in one feature. e-liquid on board and instant refill with a quick squeeze.
What Makes it Great is the Concept, Quality of parts and Serviceability and the ability of users to eventually find the Topper build that works perfect for them.

This is not a Bust on the REO - I believe in the Idea of Quality and Simplicity in producing an excellent product that will withstand the test of time.
As such, REO is a winner!

It is getting a bit annoying. Seeing threads from people happy to finally find a way to stay off the ciggies... then some Reo user comes along to one-up them.

Reo may be great, but it certainly isn't for everyone. It's the same way with my gennies and mesh wicks. For me it's perfect. For many others, it's not. Unfortunately there is no "one size fits all" in the vaping world. If it was, it would be much easier to help out the new/curious folks.

To be fair, the OP did ask:

Anyone one else found your perfect setup that kinda killed the fun of searching for it?

For some folks, the answer to that question is their Reo.

I don't think the vast majority of people that I have seen posting about the gear they love are doing so to "one up" another poster. I think that people are genuinely excited about their gear and willing to share what they see are the advantages that gear brings to the table.

Posts about $300++ custom mechanicals may be a bit braggish, but even in those cases the mods are often very beautiful. That is something I can appreciate even though I would never spend that much money personally. Some people collect mods or toppers like crazy, some of us don't. I find it much more fulfilling to share someone's excitement and happiness, rather than assume that people are doing so for malicious reasons.

Different people like different things. My wife doesn't want more than her mini-Davide and her eGo Twist (I'd buy her anything she wanted.) Live and let live.

Thanks, jerks! ;P turned this into such a reo thread... I guess I want one of those now! Oh wait, I still can't afford one. They do look nice though.

Sorry. Didn't mean for that to happen. You just asked a question & I was simply saying that I can relate lol. Didn't think it would turn into an episode.

I don't think most Reo users would argue with you. I think for many it is the Reo's dead stupid simplicity that is the biggest draw. Someone once told me that my Reo didn't look very sophisticated. My reply was that no, it is not, but it is practical, and practically indestructible.

Wow! Look at the monster of a thread I started! Didn't mean to sound harsh to any reo users.. I bet I would love one (please someone send me one) but ... I smoked cheap, CHEAP cigarettes! I'm not going for a high dollar vape!
My go to all day flavor is a diy absinthe juice. Just to throw that out there. Tried several "gourmet" juices... Don't give me a noob steeping pitch... A couple of my diy juices are as good fresh as some steeped "gourmet"..
I really enjoy reading these responses. As long as we're all off the stinks.
And again, if anyone wants to donate their reo... ;)

Reo, smeo... ;p

I found my "perfect" vape set-up about a year ago with a Provari, a Phiniac tank, and some juice from Sweet Vapes and Kick Bass Vapors. Stopped hanging out here as much, and just vaped happily away. A few months ago, I started to get B O R E D with vaping - had an analog or two at a show, and almost stopped at Walgreens to pick up a pack and knew I had to do something. Came back to the forums and discovered that in the year I was gone SO MUCH has happened in the vaping world - went on a shopping spree and now I am psyched about vaping again. (Still on my beautiful little Provari Mini, of course ;p )

Enjoy your perfect vape for a bit, and then check out the new technology that will be out in a month - I predict you'll get excited about finding your "perfect vape" all over again. :D
