Any member with COPD, what % mix, flavors and brands do you have the best luck with? I was diagnosed with COPD 6 days ago, I've been breathing like a sumo wrestler is sitting on my chest. I smoked analogs for 36 yrs and quit 7 weeks ago by switching to vaping so just stopping vaping isn't really much of an option...I am under a pulmonary specialists care who says vaping is a safer alternative (along with 8 different medications)...

My husband has mild COPD and vapes without problem. He uses 100%VG juice from Mt. Baker Vapor. He's been able to vape any of the flavors they offer. However, he's cutting his nicotine by adding several drops of USP VG obtained at Walmart to completely stop vaping, although that may take a year or so to get down to zero nicotine.

He absolutely cannot vape PG, it gives him a sore mouth, which I don't think has anything to do with COPD.

First of all---yay for your doctor!!! It's wonderful to hear that.

Second--yay for you making the switch.

I don't have COPD but I was probably really close to it, and maybe even a mild un-diagnosed case of the bronchial form of it when I stopped smoking after 35+ years (the plus because I smoked a few here and there before I started really full-time smoking). Even so, I don't think you'll have a problem with any of the flavors, you will just have to play around until you find the ones you like best.

I have COPD and Asthma, and smoked for 28 years. I vound the 100%VG to be too much for me, and went to the 80/20 VG/PG blends in my RDA. I stick with 60/40 amd 70/30 in the clearos, though.

When I vaped 100%, it was as if I was trying to breathe through a coffee stirrer.

BTW...I used to spend part of my day on an O2 line, but not anymore. I've been able to wean off of that, and the inhaler usage has dropped a ton, too. Good luck to you...I hope you are able to reverse the damage to your lungs as well.
