The only thing I can suggest to you is that if you have an issue with a rule that you agreed to abide by when you became a supplier in this forum, take it up with the administrators. Until such a time as they decide to change it, it will be enforced by the moderators.

The rule is in place for a reason, and while it may be inconvenient in some small respect, it is still the rule.

I've answered quesitons on behalf of other suppliers, is that even allowed?

The problem you have is the suppliers who take the piss out of the system you have in place. There are times when the best answer DOES come from the supplier, especially if it is a supplier related question. There's a difference between ramming a product and being helpful.

Just because you have never seen that happen, does that mean that it hasn't happened? It means you haven't seen it. I'm not too bothered as when these flavourings hit the US it will become public knowledge but as in the case of snotball juice, it's probably quite valid.

Ok, hypothetical question...like say I am looking for Snotball juice and I dont know who makes it, I post a question on here "Where can I get Snotball juice?".......and nobody replies or nobody knows... and the supplier of Snotball juice cant come in and say "hey, I know where to get Snotball juice"............how would I ever find my answer?

If you want snotball juice and no one replies, go post it in the suppliers forum where 100 suppliers can answer you if they want. If you feel you need to ask the suppliers a questions, that's part of what the suppliers forum is there for. Makes sense, doesn't it?

When you post in the members area, you are asking other members. When you post in the suppliers area, you are asking the suppliers, but members may also chime in. So if you don't get an answer in one area, there is always an option.

So which supplier in the suppliers forum should I have started with...there are about 80 of them? Unless I am missing something I dont see a general forum for suppliers...just each suppliers own sub-forum. Am I supposed to just go down the list? I am disabled but even I dont have that kind of time.

Also, if I was a supplier I would not be pointing a potential customer to another supplier, I would tell them to buy my stuff instead....if I wanted to stay in business long.

Then why wasn't this mentioned right from the beginning...this discussion would have been over then.

Going by the title I assumed that was for suppliers to chat ...and didnt think it pertained to me as I am not a supplier. Didn't read the fine print.

Thank you for the clarification.

Why would we mention it at the beginning??? The OP:

Is there any suppliers in the USA for FlavourArts Vape Wizard and Magic Mask?

We have 100 members a day asking 'who sells xyz?' They are usually asking the other members for advice. Again, if they want an answer from a supplier, they should post in the suppliers forum.

If the question is posted in the general forum, what we don't expect is for every supplier who sells that product to rush in and say 'I do!'....that is the whole point of suppliers not being able to post about their products around the forum. We have hundreds of suppliers here. If that happened, the members area would be full of supplier advertisements...and that's not the purpose of this forum. And the suppliers are expected to know the rules....period.

Sometimes an OP will ask us to move their thread to the suppliers forum...we will do that for them.

Sometimes a member will ask 'which suppliers take paypal?' and we will move it to the suppliers forum because we figure suppliers would be better to answer that question than members....and of course members can always chime in.

It is not our responsibility to make sure you are familiar with the forums here.....that's up to you. And it is not our responsibility to make sure each and every supplier has read the rules...they are directed to when they join....we don't follow them around to make sure they do.

Our responsibility is to make sure the rules are followed....and that's exactly what we did here. End of story.

Members answered the question you asked from the beginning. There are no US suppliers at this time. There is a prospective supplier, but they did not have the item in question available at that time (nor do they have it available now) therefore they were not referenced. I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

I'm not a mod, but I believe the reason the post was deleted is because a supplier "...make any posts which reference your own products or solicit for business, except in the Suppliers Forum." That is taken from the Forum Rules for Suppliers, Affiliates, Manufacturers etc.

:)

Guineahill, you have been a member here for like a month and you seem quite aware of the rules whereas it is apparent that some here longer are not, particularly a supplier who should be aware of such rules.

But instead of just saying something like 'I realize that per the rules, I should not have posted about my product in the general forum', the conversation got twisted to questioning the rules and the moderators' decisions.

In any event, I think you're right....the question did get answered so there's no sense keeping this thread open just to hear more justifications.

Thread closed.
