Are you guys talking about the Hcigars? Because yeah, I would have probably ordered one by now if they didn't have those fugly lines going down the side of the mod. The red one would be very nice looking IMO without those stupid stripes/lines.

$5.00 of 3M Dynoc to wrap it would solve that problem.

That probably wouldn't work out that well, aren't those stripe things raised up a bit? If so, I could see that being a pain to cover and get it looking descent.n Either way, I don't care for vinyl wraps, but it could work for some.

The stripe portion is flush with the main body, or lower. Basically, they cut four grooves in the body for the stripes, then polished the "valleys" of the grooves.

This shot illustrates what they did better than pics of the black and blue ones. And this one may be more aesthetically pleasing to you, but they didn't actually release one with this scheme:

Ah. Gotcha. That one does look slightly better to me, wonder why they didn't make it a production model. (Probably because it appears to have a SS 510, jk).

I still think they could have done without the stripes for a cleaner looking design. I wasn't a fan of the wavy stripes on the sig 100w+ either, and that is what the vt200 stripes remind me of.

Yeah Hotcig, because with the discount code it's $124 and so the closest price equivalent I've seen to the Cige.

The Hotcig does look like an incredibly dull, plain box, with presently only one colour as Daniel said. And the battery is the (joint) smallest of the lot. However they've done the Disruptor-style replaceable batteries with included external charger, which potentially makes it the most interesting of all. I could certainly see myself ordering a second Hotcig, assuming the first turns out OK and once they've released the separate battery packs.

That is unless there's some decent dual-18650s released soon at China prices. 200W hasn't changed my life yet and I don't see it doing so; 133 is fine. I don't fancy paying $211 for a Whiteout or more for a Boxer. When I get a Whiteout it'll be for Ares.

For now I'm going to stick with the Cige and not cancel, if only for the sake of variety. If the Hotcig arrives before the Cige has shipped and is solid, I will very likely cancel then. I hope it remains to be "available next day" on FT as it recently became.

I got the HCigar VT200 yesterday and it's OK. Solid stable buttons, design is OK - I don't mind the stripes. Compared to the other 200s I've looked at it has average price, average battery capacity, average size. Middle of the road in all respects I'd say. Nothing to commend it nor to criticise it. (I suppose I might change my tune if the brass 510 starts disintegrating, but it seems that fairly soon that won't be an issue for new purchases.)

Just for the sake of it, if i were to supposedly cancel the order of the vtbox200 should i get then a vt200 or a hotcig dna200? The biggest bummer so far with the vtbox200 is the actual mah of the lipo battery being maybe not 1800 not even 1500 but closer to the 1300 range. And as they days pass i find myself thinking that it is too big for a box mod to have only a 1300mah battery inside. I was willing to live with it and but the delay and lesser mah battery is starting to kill it for me.

Both have pros and cons. The VT 200 has a brass 510. Will it wear out so fast your head will spin, who knows. The hot cig....... I'm not certain of any cons yet. I have yet to see a single review on it. I'd go with the hotcig. Interchangeable Lipo batteries akin to the innokin disruptor. Cheaper than the VT 200, $125 with coupon code "map" at FT. And it'll probably ship faster.

You do know that Mod only has a 900 mAh battery so you wouldn't be solving your problem. Also I have yet to see an ad for it that says it has a spring loaded 510 pin.

Well i could always buy a second battery for the hotcig but spring loaded 510 pin is a must. I dont understand why there are still new mods out there with fixed 510 pins Where are we living? In the middle-ages?

I should have worded the 510 issue as a caveat. I don't know that it doesn't have a spring load center pin. When I was looking at it I could never find anything that said it did. The Mods with Spring loaded 510s usually brag it up in the specs. Soooo you might want to email them and double check.

As far as the 900 mAh battery that is what I use and it last me all day and evening. (YMMV)

I was afraid you would ask those questions.

I always run between 22.5 and 25 watts depending on the juice. I consume between 3 and 5 ml per day probably average 4ml at the most (24 mg).
I am more of an 8 ml daily guy myself so i would definitely need an extra battery for the hotcig
