While waiting for my daughter's b/f to get his background check for a job, I vaped. I had my Leo in my hand, as I had been using it in the car, and without thinking about it, I took a puff. While he was being fingerprinted, I vaped..... nothing was said. The area was under video surveillance, as was posted, and the camera in the ceiling was obvious. The woman doing the fingerprinting never said a word, nor did she give a disapproving look. She was actually very pleasant.
There were only a few people there, and I was not blowing plumes like I normally do (trying to be respectful around others), but it was so cool that the State PD did not make an issue out of it!
Of course, I vaped at the VA Hospital, as usual. I had condoms with me, but forgot to bring a 4081 with me for others to try. I had so many people asking me questions about it. One Vet actually asked, "is that one of those 'vaporizers'?" He did not ask if it was an electronic cigarette!! He was using the nic lozenge(rs), and had to keep popping them in (I thought there was a limit on them). I think he was a little jealous of my vapor, poor chap! I even vaped while talking to the Pharmacist!
My Neurologist wanted to do an exam, so I had to put down my pocketbook, and Leo. He asked, "what's that?" I told him it was my personal vaporizer, that I had quit smoking, this was how I now get my nicotine, and his reply was "excellent".
I think the PVs that look like analogs, do a great injustice to the cause.... vaping is NOT smoking, yes it is an alternative TO smoking, but it is NOT smoking. I can sit and chain vape my heart out, without getting sick. I am not hacking up a lung. I can eat, and vape making awesome flavors for my taste buds, whereas eating and smoking makes foods taste, well...bad. I'm planning on covering up the 4081s, so that they can not be confused with analogs when others try them!!
