Well color me impressed! This is a pretty nice little device if you don't need to (or in my case, can't) honk on it all day long. It's one of the reasons why I opted for the 45mg salts.

At work, I get two 15 minute breaks and an hour for lunch. Every now and then, an opportunity presents itself for a quickie stealth vape as well. The battery lasted the entire day and didn't even get down to the 30% battery level (indicated by a red light when pressing the fire button).

The nitty gritty.

The pod is a 1ml pod that has two fill holes on the bottom. You twist the base of the pod 45 degrees to access the fill holes. This is what had me somewhat concerned earlier about leaking. I'm happy to say, not a single drop was noticed, and I took the pod out several times to check.

The kit comes with a silicon sleeve that fits over the end of a dropper. I find it creates a bit of a mess, so I'm most likely going to just use a syringe and needle to fill the pod when it needs it. I'll give the sleeve a few more tries to see if there's a method that creates less of a mess, but I have a feeling that syringe and needle is the cleanest way to go unless your bottle has a fill tip on it.

The mod itself is pretty light and fits nicely in your hand. Button is nicely placed, and has a nice tactile "click" to it when vaping. Standard 5 clicks to turn on and off.

I didn't come close to using the entire 1 ml in the pod today. Looks like I used about half a mil. Not sure what the battery level is, and that's a slight negative. I'll use this as my primary device at home tomorrow to get a feel for how long the battery will last with constant use.

Verdict. Not a bad little device if you need something small and stealthy and can't vape continuously throughout the day. With the 45mg nicotine salts, I was even keel all day long with no urgent urge to sneak out and have a quick vape.

**sigh** Shame on me for not doing a full check on this company before pulling the trigger.

I ran a SSL check and they came through with flying colors, so I skipped the additional checks I'd normally do on a new company that I'm contemplating ordering from. First red flag went up when I received an email from them that contained the password I used to create the account. BIG! HUGE! STUPENDOUS red flag here. This tells me they're using a weak hash to store passwords.

So I start firing up my other testing sites and yep.... They're using Magento and there are a couple of high risk items that MageReport has flagged.

Just fired off an email to them. Let's see what they say in reply.

I haven't decided if this is a total thumbs down or what. It really IS a nice little device. It doesn't leak, it's compact, and with the 45mg nic salts in it, hits like a tank making for a nice all day setup.

I don't want to rebuild 'em (took it apart just to see if it could be done). I'm pretty tired of the hobby aspect of vaping. I'm looking for trouble free, ease of use at this point and the Cora pretty much delivers on that aspect.

The only drawback in my book are the price of the pods and the amount of eliquid they hold. 5 refills at just 1ml per fill isn't that much. I would expect it to last longer before the flavor starts to get nasty.

Sure, they're not terribly expensive (the pods), but there's something in the back of my mind that tells me there's something better out there.

I had completely forgotten about this one. And as it's dual use (for that other stuff that shall not be named), I think it has a greater chance of actually sticking around for a while.

There are discount codes available if you search for them, so I just may order one of these next week.

The thing that has me totally intrigued (and excited) is their claim that the pods do not have wicks or coils.

If that's really the case, these things should last virtually forever.

Still anxiously awaiting the arrival of the one I ordered.

Welp, it showed up today. Eagerly took it out of the box, threw it on the charger and started to examine the pod. I foresee major leakage in my immediate future when my nic salts show up tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong, but the way these pods are filled does not give me a warm feeling on how it's going to go.

I'll post more tomorrow (with pics) after I get the e-liquids.

Forgot to mention last night that it took less than an hour to charge back up via the USB port on my notebook cooler. Considering they say it takes approximately 2 hours for it to charge to "full", I'm guessing I was at around the 50 percent mark last night.

Started using it at 0500 and will use it as my primary device until it says it's done to get a feel for the actual use time on the thing.

Welp, there's absolutely no chance of rebuilding these pods as getting into it totally destroys the pod. The mouthpiece is glued on and getting the mouthpiece out takes half the plastic of the pod with it. If they didn't glue the mouthpiece to it, you could even change the coil (couldn't get into that thing, either) as it just screws into the base.

There's definitely a wire coil of some sort in there, but I can't get the thing apart in order to see if there's an actual wick (sure tastes like there was).

At nearly 6 bucks a pop for a new pod, I'm not sure this is a keeper. It's a shame, too. Virtually everything else about the Cora is really nice and there wasn't a single drop of leakage. If those pods were to come down to say around between 2-3 bucks a pop, then I'd say it was something worth getting. As it is now? I have to think on it. On one hand, it really is a nice little device. But they're pretty spot on about the pod lasting around 5 refills. So you'd be replacing a pod once a week. Now you're looking at 24-30 bucks extra a month in pods. Yes, still cheaper than what you'd shell out for smokes each week, but it's the principle of the thing.

Looks cool but this is one of them things someone has to take on for the team and write a good review about eh [emoji23]

2+2=5 [emoji102]
I was hoping someone (or several someones) would take a hit for the team on this one. I only found it because I was searching for The Rock by Boulder to see if there were other stores carrying it, and all I found is that they are targeting 7/11 type stores, which is why the vape stores don't have it.

Burnie,

The device is 133mm tall by 17mm wide to give you an idea on overall size. The magnetic pods do click in and out nicely. As far as performance goes, it's not bad for something in that category (myjet, juul, ect..) In my opinion ceramic style coils take awhile to break in and never taste as good as cotton but others may disagree. The draw is tight like you would expect, It is definitely a mouth to lung device. The tanks are easy to fill and in testing did not leak. If your looking for something in this form factor, and are expecting performance like the devices listed above this might work for you.

Thanks for the input. Can the coils be cleaned in any way? My ADV juice gunk's up coils so they need dry burned & re-wicked, or just replaced. I can't see buying new pods because of a little gunk buildup. The Rock is a pain at first to replace the coil, but I have done it 4 or 5 times and am still on my first pod. What caught my eye on this one was the button to fire it, but wanted more info before I dropped the scratch and purchased one.

The coils are sealed into the pod, to dismantle the coil might just ruin the pod. BTW what is your ADV?
A mix of Nicoticket Wakonda, Virus, Radioactive, and Coffee extract from MyVapeJuice. Coils really do not like it. If I am only using one device all day, I get 3 days tops out of a coil before needing cleaned or replaced.

Anybody know how much the pods are? My new rule is to check the price of the pods before buying, and see if they can be rebuilt, since I only get one or two fills with my juices. I don' t want something as expensive as cigarettes in maintenance. I would love to find cheap pods and just throw away after one or two fills, but at this point that's a dream o_O
