Howdy Greaser and Welcome Aboard!

There have been many discussions about the vapor from vaping, the smell (if any) and all the different comments and experiences people have had vaping at home, at work, inside and outside.

The very best thing I can suggest is to grab a hot or cold beverage of your choice and read, read and read as much of these different forums/sub-forums as you can and you'll find the exact answers you are looking for.

I tested this in a house full of non smokers at their request. They were able to smell a pleasant fragrance of raspberry for a few seconds. After that it was totally gone according to them.
Of course I was vaping raspberry. I wouldnt worry about a buildup. My hubby is a non smoker and he doesnt smell a buildup in my office where I vape all the time.

No, Never noticed any odor build up after 9 months of vaping. Sometimes people say that they can smell the juice I am using though.

One of the things I love about vaping is that it doesn't stink up the joint. I never smoked in the house but I now take great pleasure in being able to kick back after dinner and puff away on my PV without annoying anyone at the table.

I love being able to vape anywhere and not having to go outside.

Me too! Especially when it's MINUS something outside! I'm saving a LOT on gas too..I used to go into the car and smoke!

I find that if I'm vaping something STRONG, like Atomic Cinnacide, it CAN be detected, but everyone says it's a NICE smell!

I work with computers and usually sit at my desk all day. What would happen to me is that my neck and shoulders would get really stiff and I would go outside for a smoke when I was still doing analogs.

Once I quit and started vaping, I do it at my desk and my neck and shoulders don't get stiff any more. I smoked because I associated it with relaxing, not so much as for the nic. I think that by being able to vape at my desk, my body does not get as tense and I am more relaxed while working.

Has anyone else experienced this?

A couple of things to add to this. I was vaping right next to my Dad and sister over the Easter weekend. Before I could have had an analog in a hurricane an hour before and covered myself with skunk juice and they would have picked up the smell half a mile away and complained. After 30 minutes they got curious what I "was smoking" because they couldn't smell it. Also went by an e-tailer's house the other day to get some juice locally. He is an extremely heavy vaper and somehow I expected to smell smoke in the house. Absolutely NOTHING even though he vapes indoors all day long. I have to go with no real smell.

Yes, if you are vaping some strong flavors and with VG juice, I find that I can smell it for a little bit...Now, does it smell anything like analogs......No...not even close and like other people stated...It doesn't last long...But, having said that...people that don't smoke or vape, will consider it the same....The learning curve with vaping so so new, that I think and hope in a year or two, that the "correct" word comes out concerning
vaping...
