Vaper to Be! I would like to introduce myself.

I just ordered my first e-cig after hours of scouring the web for the 'right one'. I got into the whole idea when my mom was making fun of a low budget e-cig commercial over the phone from another state. Well, searched and searched and my findings on youtube didn't match her description. Eventually, I was smitten with the idea of finding a solution for the fact that I smoke waaay too much. When someone else lights up, even on the big screen, I want one, when I hear it, smell it, eat, wake, get sleepy, drink, I want one.

So, I just ordered a starter kit from aquavaporcig and I'm really excited. I weighed the options the best I could and this one didn't tell me it would be 4-6 weeks after paying before it would even begin it's journey to my mouth. I chose this one because it was a mini, it seemed from what I read that I could expect a decent amount of vapor, and it didn't have to be white and brown, oh yeah, and I like the idea of a usb charger since I just bought a usb to car charger adapter and don't really have any other use for it. Also, most of the free trials seemed to have pretty short periods and pricer kits, this one came to a total of $35 with shipping. I'm so excited - I think I'll have one of these Newports!

Anywho, I thought there might be someone who would be interested in reading someone else's story (which I mainly joined this site to share) and have some more info. I plan to come here with my experience so that someone else might be able to gather info from me.

Thank you all for not saying "Who cares? Go away!" There seem to be a lot of good and positive people too; I am looking forward to being a member of this community!
It's finally here, sticking out of the side of the computer. The instructions appear to have been translated from a foreign language, as there are several mistakes in grammar. They also aren't as detailed as I had hoped. I think I've pretty much got it figured out, the warnings are pretty concise. It's also a lot longer than I thought it would be, it's about the length of a 100 and I was looking for a short; there was no claim made as to the length I just went from the pictures on the website. It was a good starting price, we'll see if I got what I paid for, haha! Once it's done charging I'll either post here or in the review section about the vapor and 'throat hit'.

Welcome to the vaping world. If you keep an open mind and remember it is a personal experience you will do well. It takes time to get what you want perfectly right. There is plenty of support here and keep up trying you will be extremely happy with it. I know i would never think of going back to the awful things of analogs. <green face> Let us know how we can help you on your beginnings!

Who cares?? Go away!! Kidding...like REALLY kidding. :) You are in with a group of people who consider themselves to be unbelievably lucky to have found these devices. Even if yours cuts out most of your analogs (real cigs), you are still doing yourself a world of good. So welcome welcome!!

I took at look at the site you mention and it looks like a descent site. Which model did you get? That info will allow us to better direct you to more info. We are familiar with all the models listed, and all have their pros and cons. The name of course is a bit of a misnomer. There is not a lot of water vapor in the vapor, mostly propylene glycol (PG). Sales people often talk about the vapor as water vapor, but it is for the most part PG. Their liquid prices are a bit high, but don't worry, there are MANY excellent vendors out there. You may even wish to learn to make your own juices with flavorings and unflavored nic juice.

Your instructions were probably originally in Chinese. Its ok, no shortage of detailed help here at ECF!

Recommended: get a USB passthrough, so you can save batts while on the computer. Indispensible!

Enjoy the vaping!

Welcome Aboard! After smoking for 35 years, I am now smoke free soon to be 2 yrs.. If your e cig doesn't work out for you, don't give up, just try another one. I just got a janty stick, and so far I love it. I still enjoy my 510 as well. There are many different cigs on the market and all have their little quirks. There is a wealth of knowledge here from people "in the know". Always nice to see a pretty face here as well. Good luck in your new lifestyle. rsmith76

Just started myself.... I have been smoking for twenty five years.. two pac a day.. pall malls and marlboros. So, I know where you come from and I hope you have good luck with it. I got the screwdriver because of how heavy I smoke and it last a pretty good time on battery power. It is a mod and has a larger battery than regular e-cigs.. just have to find what works for yah. I have been through six models of others to get to this one .. and wish I had the expertise of this site and knew about this site before I bought my first one.
All that aside.. Just thought I would welcome you, as well.. and wish you the best. Sincerely,
Tom:cool:

I smoked just over a pack of Newports daily and after a week with my 'peewee' (that's what you call the mini super cigarette right) RN4081, I have found when running out of battery or (today) smoke  8-o juice :grr: , the analogs taste just plain filthy. Now I can taste the jet fuel and after making such a big deal out of vapor production, there's way more preet-tey cloud from the pv. Thanks to your help I have been finding out a lot about the best juices, dependable suppliers and reasonable prices. I would like to ask of anyone who might read this about cleaning my atty though. It's leaving a burnt taste in the throat hit and I can see little bits of frayed wires down in the encasement but all I know (forgive me, I can't remember who made the post) is that if you soak it in Bacardi 151 you'll turn it into a flamethrower.
If you haven't seen that thread I suggest doing a search for : WARNING, clean, atty.
Again, thank you everyone for being so warm, it feels wonderful to enter this endless positivity. Christmas is coming but not everyone in my family has computers or common online payment vehicles to reorder their juice, but I'm hoping that something can be worked out so these things can spread through my family like wildfire - no (most of them are in the desert) more like a looming mass of vapor, this must be shared! I can hardly believe either, that I have gone from a $52 (plus gas to get into a different county and avoid $70 - $80) carton a week to no more than $15. Absolutely amazing.

I'm new too, but totally sold. I am loving "smoking" again -- vaping. Haven't had or wanted an analog since my kit arrived. Now I'm experimenting with non-tobacco flavors (which I didn't think I'd like but I really DO!) and strengths.

I ordered the Vapor 4 Life Ultimate Ultimatum kit -- on a friend's recommendation, who'd been through two other brands and hadn't liked them -- and I couldn't be happier.

I'm a 40+ years 2-pack a day full-flavor 100s smoker and I LOVE smoking.

I'm amazed (and happy!) that vaping instantly replaced smoking for me. No withdrawals, no "symptoms" whatsoever! Lucky, I guess.

Vaping's much more fun, healthier without the tars and chemical compounds in the smoke, and WAY cheaper for the same satisfaction!

Plus the extremely important "cool" factor.

Hope you have the same wonderful experience!
