vapers and smokers

Just outta curiousity does anyone here vape and smoke analogs outta choice? Not meaning you cant quit the analogs... but that you like em too much to stop even though your vaping.

I do understand that some people can't pass the hump of finally quitting analogs... its tough for some... but does anyone here just do both anyways...?

The day I started vaping I walked away from analogs for good. I didn't intend to. I meant to hang on to the analogs for another day or two out of sheer reluctance. I liked vaping so much right off the bat that I didn't want to smoke anymore.

I still smoke an analog or two a day, usually right before bed. It's more of a ritual than anything else, and the longer I vape the nastier the analogs taste. When I figure out how to get a replacement ritual in place, I'll abandon the analogs entirely, since there's no sense in it at all.

It took me about a month to wean myself down to zero analogs. Once I got a good 5 volt PV that provided the TH and consistency that I missed in analogs, I was able to quit completely.

I found E-Lites and stopped smoking analogues for a few days. I then had a puff on an analogue to compare the two and quite frankly couldnt believe how nasty it was.

You don't realise how much they smell, how bad they make you feel and how nasty they taste until you try the e-cig.

Best invention since sliced bread!

I might have one every other week, but each time I do they taste nastier than the last. My GF on the other hand still smokes anywhere from 3-7 per day and uses her ego. I have been trying to find her an all day vape that she likes more than analogs but that has been a struggle. Maybe I should look into a 5v for her and see if that helps.

Yeah it took me a couple days to stop smoking analogs when I started vaping... mostly causdy first pv was infferior to most other pv's out their. But after I got it working I gave my last pack away to a buddy at work.

I only vape 5 volt PV's now. The GLV from: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor is well supported on this forum. If cost is a concern, then I would suggest Ken's Box Mods: Box Mods. Mine works quite well.

I don't know what nic strength e-liquid your GF is using but it might be too low. When first trying to quit, I suggest 24mg nic strength and even 36mg if necessary.

TBH i wasn't planning to quit. I love to smoke! I know it's bad...

I was looking for a cig alternative for my flight, I could do 12-14 hours flight without one but never attempt a 19 hour direct flight. To prevent being thrown out of the plane if I start having tantrums, I was looking into Snus and found about ecig by accident. YAY!

I still have half a carton of menthol lights but I've been smoking about 10 analogs in the past 2 weeks. I smoked mostly the first 3 days because I didn't have a smooth start with my kit. Just after the first day of vaping, the analogs were starting to taste .... weird. Strange, been smoking it for 21 years.
