I do it both out of a tank and dripper. .5ohm and an Hcigar Kraken and an Infinite Magma. The sub ohm just allows me to modulate my tokes to what I see fit. Otherwise I don't see myself getting more nicotine then when I was chain vaping 24mg on a normal setup. Sure I do take huge hits every now and then for the rush, but I would be good for 10-15mins and not even want to take another toke.

It never really bothered my throat at all. When I was chain vaping 24mg I did once get a sore thoat. think that is what got me use to it.

I mentioned dripping 36mg on a thread and people automatically assume im going to die. No matter how I try to explain it. I haven't even heard of anyone dieing from vaping nic. By OD at least.
The thread was actually based on the OP trying to get bigger clouds and vapor production, It was suggested that he lower the nic. It had nothing to do with health concerns. Fact is you are not going to be able to handle as long and deep of an inhale with a cloud chasing subohm build like you will if your nic is way lower.

True

First thing in the morning I can't do deep lung inhales. No doubt not helped by my nic level. After a couple decades of smoking the way I did that's par for the course too though.

But I can't deep lung inhale pure vg like I hear some people doing either. Dunno. It's just disgusting (for lack of a better term) in some weird way to me. It's not the flavor per say. I have no problem vaping unflavored like a dragon. I think it just bothers me inhaling all that vapor with no throat hit. Invokes a gag reflex.

I had people swearing that, as a long time 18mg user, I wouldn't like anything stronger than 6mg in an RDA. I admit I backed down to 12mg for all day dripping, but I like my 18mg in it just fine too. I've got buddies who are running builds similar to mine(.3-.4 ohms) and say anything stronger than 3mg is too intense. I think it really varies a LOT from person to person, and the only real rule is if it's making you sick or hurting too much, lower it until you're comfortable.

Nicotine is a drug that we rapidly build a tolerance to. I chain vaped 18mg for years before recently picking up a mod and RDA. When I tried out my first build I loaded it up with one of my normal 18mg ADVs (French Vanilla Tobacco) and the first pull got me seriously light headed. I didn't want to rewick right away so I made myself finish what was in there which took about half an hour. Afterwards I filled it with some 12mg stuff I had and it was much better. I chain vaped that for the next couple days, and on the third day I accidentally grabbed the 18mg stuff as I headed out the door. Well it was a bit rough on the first break trying to chain vape that stuff, but by my second break it was no big deal. Now I can sit and chain vape 18mg juice all day with huge lung hits and no problem and I've only had an RDA for just over a week. I have never tried anything over 24 mg because I simply don't need it, but I feel confident that I could acclimate myself to 100mg within 2 days if that's all I had. I don't see it as crazy at all to drip 36mg at all if that's what you used before dripping.

I think one contributing factor to people dripping lower nic is the surprising amount of vapers who aren't ex-smokers and who just jumped straight into vaping and recently even straight into cloud chasing. Of course those people can't handle as much nic as an ex pack per day smoker so they come on here and spread it around that you have to drip with very low nic and then other vapers try dripping and get a head rush from that first pull on their normal juice so they immediately adjust down because somebody on here told them to. I'm not saying that's a bad thing either. Nicotine is a poison and taking in less of any poison is absolutely a good thing. I don't believe that dripping higher nic will work for a long term solution to reduce battery usage though, your body will likely adjust to the higher nic and crave more, the rate at which that happens will certainly be influenced by how often you vape.

I vaped anywhere from 30 to 36 nic for more than 4-1/2 years. I supplemented with Snus and got into WTA. I gave up the WTA and snus about 3 years ago after I was able to cut my juice consumption by several mls a day but I continued using high nic. I was a 2-1/2 pack/day smoker though. Just recently lowered the nic level due to dripping on an HH357 atty. I only felt slightly sick twice in over four years. I know a lot of people would have been sick smoking that many cigarettes in one day but that was MY habit. Vaping high nic was an absolute necessity for MY journey. Everyone will take their own individual path to find what works for them.

Out of curiosity, Tracey, why did you drop the WTA?

Back then I was using a penstyle 801 atty and batt. When you read threads from that long ago you will see that it was quite the task to get a good (decent) vape. It was was a major PITA but I was determined that this was going to work for me. I vaped like I smoked. Constantly. I couldn't get enough nic. I even carried a separate bottle of unflavored 48 mg in my bag and would drip sparingly when I felt I needed too. I carried it with me for a couple of years. Needing it less and less as time went on. When WTA came around I was vaping about 8 mls of juice a day. So I studied up on WTA and wanted to try it to see if it would help me get a handle on things. I vaped only WTA liquids (36 mg - high WTA) for several months and was able to get my consumption down to about 3 mls a day. Then I started mixing the WTA juice with my regular juice and I weaned myself off of it. Glad to say that as of about two months ago I am still vaping about three mls a day (sometimes less) and have cut my nic from 30-36 mg to between 18 and 24. So I'm pretty happy right now. Five years in and I feel quite comfortable with where my journey has taken me so far. Hence my avitar. Still have to pinch myself sometimes when I say think about it. I'm a non-smoker. Hallelujah!
