Is it possible that the nicotine from vaping to affect the sexual appetite and male organs? This is a serious question. Since by vaping we are still inhaling nicotine which is a vasoconstrictor it can have. I am asking as I have switched between period of vaping and smoking (I am trying here) and I have noticed that when vaping my sexual appetite goes down. Anyone experienced the same? What are your thoughts on this?

Also the same question can be applied to cardiovascular diseases, as nicotine alone has some ill effects.

Accepted wisdom is that nic levels should be on par or lower with vaping compared to smoking ... blood oxygen levels should be higher, lung capacity should be better ... I would expect the opposite to be true ... are you talking desire, or performance ... or both? A lot of this stuff is as much in your brain as in your ... you know ... maybe there is something more psychological than physical going on here ....

Fact is I smoked only light cigarretes (which I know does not exists in USA), with nicotine only 0.2 mg/cigarette. I smoked 2 PAD but now I am vaping 5-6 ml of 12mg/ml nicotine. Maybe this is the explanation. I have noticed a decrease in erections during night. Really! Perhaps I am taking more nicotine by vaping than smoking.

OP: I would recommend making a appointment to see a urologists. (Maybe a general well being check up as well)
That may be a good idea regardless of this issue. But fact is: I started vaping in December and noticed a decrease in sexual drive, smoked January and February and the sexual drive/stamina was back, started vaping again in March and noticed again a decrease in my sexual performance. Since it seems I am the only one I will go and make an appointment with a doctor.

OP- The reason I ask is because when I tried to quit smoking before I knew about ecigs, I went back to smoking because I couldn't breathe without them. Some of us are so used to smoking that when we stop we don't know how to breathe.

For most, when they quit smoking, they can breathe, thus they get better oxygen, which makes their blood pressure go down, which makes the equipment work better, its all about blood flow, and if its not acting right the desire won't be there neither.

Another issue that you could be having is withdrawal, cigarettes are much more effective than baling, so it takes more nic to equal what you get from cigarettes, you could try stepping it up and see if that helps.

Thanks! That makes sense. I will try lower nicotine as well and see if it helps :)

If it is withdrawal lower nic won't fix it. 12 mg nice is not that high. Your body is used to having a certain amount of nicotine and if you don't give that amount to your body it will throw a fit. You can step it down over time and your body will adapt, but if you deprive it too.quickly it won't function right for a period of time.
