I've noticed that since I've started vaping, I no longer have morning breath and my mouth doesn't feel like something crawled in and died when I wake up.
I take it from mouthwash commercials and my wife's reaction to kissing me goodbye as I go off to work in the morning after drinking several glasses of water, brushing my teeth, etc., (she's reluctant to breath in my direction) that almost everybody gets morning breath. I've certainly had it since I was a child regardless of whether I was smoking. I quit smoking years before I began vaping. Within a few weeks of vaping, however, it disappeared. I still wake up thirsty and my mouth is much dryer than any other time of day, but no awful, gummy, taste of death.
I wonder if it's the antimicrobial effect of PG. Anyone else experience this?
ADDED: I know what causes bad breath. When I smoked, I had smoker's breath, but I've not otherwise ever had bad breath. Thankfully, I have a lovely wife of 17 years who is more than willing to say whatever is necessary to keep me on my toes about matters related to hygiene and grooming. She concurs about my mysterious lack of morning breath and the fact that it seems unusual.
So I'm not asking about bad breath in general -- just morning breath.
