This thread made me decide to bump up my nic from 2 to 3 on a couple batches I was bringing out of the steeping cabinet as I have put on 6 - 9 pounds over the past 6 - 9 months due to too much whiskey and drunk munchies. I likely don't need to do that now that I am on the wagon but I don't think it can hurt so figured why not.

Jogging accelerates the digestive system. If you can't jog, take fiber supplements. I like the clear Wheat Dextrin type. It disappears into the water when you stir it and what you drink is clear enough to look like plain water after a stir. It beats the heck out of Metamucil and all others I've tried. It's a great product.

I got some of that (Benefiber) when I started doing Keto to make sure I was getting enough fiber. Now that I am more educated on food/keto I haven't really needed it lately. I just make sure I eat lots of avocado, portobello, spinach, cauliflower, etc. If I do need more fiber for my daily goals I add chia seeds, hemp hearts, roasted edamame, inchi seeds, pecans, etc to my salads or morning avocado and eggs bowls. No Cow protein bars are a great source of fiber as well. They have so much fiber per bar I usually just eat a half a bar with a meal if the rest of the meal doesn't have much/any fiber.

Since I quit and switched to vaping about 1 year ago I have not missed smoking. I have also gained about 12 pounds. It is not as a result of any change in my eating habits, in fact I probably eat less. I believe it is just a normal consequence of quitting cigarettes. I can't explain it in any other way. I have just learned to accept it even though I am not happy with the weight gain. Not much I can do as my eating habits and my diet are very minimal. I am not a drinker so I can't blame it on that. I just live with it.

You can count your calories in/out. That is how I lost 25% of my body weight. I was still smoking cigs (and drinking beer) when I first started counting calories and the weight came off just as quick as when I switched to vaping.
