Do you think the vapors will harm a guitar? I know when i vape in my car it will leave a film on the inside of the window. I have a open pore mahogany guitar , will it harm it?

I don't think it will cause any damage. If anything, it may even help preserve it to some degree. most polishes and waxes have at least a small portion of things like PG and VG in them.
Mine are doing just fine. No problems at all. Only thing I have to worry about is keeping them polished lol. Camera phone sucks btw...
Doesn't matter that it's open pores...it's still sealed or treated (shellac, wax, oil, nitro, etc). They might need a rub-down every now and then with a clean cloth. PG is used in de-humidifiers for acoustic guitars.

I chain vape in my office and have 8-7 guitars on stands and hanging on the wall. Never had a problem or noticed buildup.

Haven't hurt one yet almost three years in. Always vaping when I'm in here. Nice not havin' a nasty ashtray always sitting atop one of the amps anymore.

Yeah, and you also miss out on all those cool Keith Richards style burn marks on your guitars and amps.
You shouldn't leave your guitar in your car, especially in the summer.
I have a couple of guitars too, plus some electronics and studio gear, and I always used to chain smoke tobacco in that room, so I'm not too worried about vaping, as I don't need any scientific degree to tell me that vaping is way safer and better than tobacco cig smoke, and not just for humans, but for your gear too.
Vaping is fine around guitars. You should be wiping them down regularly anyways - skin oils are more harmful.
