Vaping around kids

Anyone vape in the same room or a car as their kids? I'm not sure if there are any risks involved, I've looked at some of the studies and it seems like there's little harm in it. Obviously I doubt I'd want to blow vapor rings into their faces but within reason, like in a car with the window cracked and blowing it towards the window seems like it shouldn't be a problem. I was vaping last night beside my 10 yr old while watching tv and I found myself either blowing it into my shirt or holding my breath a bit which pretty much absorbs most of the vapor. I know it's nothing like cig smoke but we can't be absorbing every bit of the nicotine so there's gotta be some being exhaled I'd think.

There is the whole bad example thing but how many of our kids knew we smoked, even if you didn't do it around them. Probably a lot. I was a closet smoker after I started again last year, I'm pretty sure my son knew I smoked, kids aren't stupid and can smell but I never did it in front of him but for some reason I didn't have a problem vaping in front of him, same as I didn't have a problem eating my nicorette lozenges in front of him I suppose.

I'm only recent to vaping but lately have been vaping around my 9 year old and 7 year old sporadically . I never ever smoked around my kinds, they never knew I smoked and never wanted them to see me. They started catching on by smell and I got caught outside once or twice. So then they knew. My 9 year old daughter was mortified that I smoked. So I told them I have now quit and i did it by vaping and explained it to them. My daughter is very proud and glad that I quit. Point is I sneak in some vapes in the house in the other room or sitting at the computer. They see me occasionally do it but they are glad I'm off the cigs. Right or wrong I said that vaping was only for people to get off ciggs, it's not something people "do" Don't want them to think they can go off and do it since "Daddy said it was far far better than smoking the stinky things". I never vape in the car even when I'm on my own, maybe cause it's a brand new truck and I don't want it to lose that new car smell but I haven't smoked in my vehicles since the kids were born anyways.

My two cents...
