Vaping around other people and animals

I might be totally out of line here, but it won't be the first time.
Just starting vaping 11 days ago and only on an impulse that it was something I could puff on while visiting my grandkids.
My two sons agreed. Remember Gramps here grew up in an era when we drove down to Florida the kids slept in the very back of the station wagon when they wern't
playing Snakes and Ladders. When we had a house party, if we invited 16-20 that meant about 8 ashtrays strategically placed with matchbooks of the finest hotels, casinos and retaurants we had patronised. I've been in the golf business all my life so I had a room called 'Arnie's Shrine' where we shot pool, drank fine bourbon and always smoked cigars. There were more burns on my bumper felt! Kids were in the next room and all's fine.
So vape on!!!!

I found topics in the other forums but
they were closed so I'm going to start a new one. I cant really find a good answer to this, is vaping around other people and animals harmful?

I vape indoors and my kid is only complaining about the smell, my wife says she doesn't smell anything, my co worker claims it is making him sick and can smell it yet he is 10 ft away!!!

I mainly vape in my man cave in my house and behind me is my hamster (3 ft away) he is in a glass tank and yes its 20 gallons

anyways if its bad for them I will go outside, does anyone know?

Even secondhand smoke, also known as environmental tobacco smoke ( ets ) is not considered harmful in the scientific community. Once the smoke enters the atmosphere the chemical structure changes dramatically. So second hand vape is safe as well. The flavor my be annoying to others though so try a flavorless while indoors around others that don't like it.

As much as I would personally enjoy vaping at work, I'm not going to.

In a small family owned business, I guess the business can do whatever they want. In most corporate settings, though, even if the state isn't explicitly forbidding it, it will be considered somewhat inconsiderate to vape. And it will give company whiners something to whine about.

The microwave popcorn example is a good one.
