my family and friends that dont smoke/vape dont like me vaping around them or in the house even tho it cant hurt them at all and theres not even a smell like with smoking does any one else have this problem or a problem like this if so how did you solve it
Well I just try to be respectful to my family & friends so that they stay my family & friends.

Other folks...I don't care so much.

When it's my car, I vape. When it's my house, I vape. When nobody's looking, I vape. ;)

I was a little worried because I'm the only one in my family who ever smoked. I NEVER smoked around my parents (I'm 43, BTW), and always went outside or somewhere they wouldn't smell it because I know it bothered them (both for them and for me).

Just the other day I was visiting and was showing my "gear" to my mom. I took a drag and blew it out. She smiled and said, oh, it smells so good! That's when I knew she was OK with me vaping. I still won't do it around them like I do at home though.

Sorry you're having trouble getting your family past the psychological barrier of smoking vs vaping. Maybe once they see how much healthier you've become they'll be more open to it.

I actually am a little bit worried about vaping in the car. I just have the most horrid fear that I am going to get pulled over by a cop thinking its (SOMETHING ELSE) rather than a PV. :p
Always possible. Three deputies this last week saw it and didn't care, on separate occasions. Never know, though.

I have been asked about me vaping in the car a couple times while using it and once I explain it I usually have people interested and when I refer them I get discounts from referrals from nettmix it's great!

I kinda treat it the same way if it were analogs. I already know they aren't as harmful as analogs, but I don't want the risk of pissing anyone off, or even getting into a whole argument from someone who is misinformed on the health risks of e-cigs vs real cigarettes.

Out of sight, out of mind. . . but it is my own choice.

Do you have a link with the studies that prove the bolded statement?

The truth is we don't know if or how harmful e-cigs are.

And not only that, your rights end where the other person's begin.

I'm stunned they are so uptight about it. It doesn't smell and disipates quickly, so what is there even to complain about.

Educate these folks. Tell them what is in it and how harmless it is.

I understand it is hard though. I was telling my mom all about it everything I knew, and she said, "but you're still smoking." I was so frustrated. Just because there is stuff coming out of your lungs people can't get over that it is vapor not smoke. Slowly she has started to understand. Once they get over the initial fear and stigma of "smoke" they'll get use to it. My mom now takes hits off of mine now!

Stick with it and don't give up on it. This should not be considered taboo.
