Well cable and mesh are quite clearly two different things, and the one time I tried the cable I had to wrap it with mesh, which works just dandy without the cable in a properly rolled wick, making the cable superfluous and irrelevant.

I wrapped my cable wicks in a thin layer of cotton to insulate them from the coils------seem to work really nice.
Had some warnings that some of the stainless cable could contain LEAD.......bought it from a hardware store.....

To be truly accurate they are Genisis tanks and as far as I know, no seal has been harmed in the making of the wicks

My good sir, when I speak of gennies I mean gennies built as intended, with mesh and kanthal, the old school way, and not some .......ized atty subverted into something it's not with cotton or silica such as a dripper fanatic would use. Put those things in it and it's not a genny anymore.
If you can't roll a mesh wick you can't build a genny, and should just stick with drippers or kayfunnies, end of discussion.

Life is simple for me. I don't go into vape shops unless I have an emergency, like the cat stole my roll of kanthal, and holy cow, I can't find it anywhere!! My closest one largely caters to college students. I feel like a dinosaur in there due to my age and gender. During the kanthal roll emergency, they did like my Sigelei 100W, but eyed whatever RTA was on it suspiciously, and probably wondered where my cloud chucking RDA must be (I don't seem to have one ). I'm sure they have no idea what a Gus Estia is, or a Spheroid. They would probably like my Cthulhu I put Claptons in last night though, and say, "Right on, mama!". I'm sure they view me as someone's mother.
So I love my little online shopping world. I can buy a Poldiac (well, until recently). I can buy a genny, or RTA or dripper from anywhere in the world and it will come to my mailbox in cowville. I can buy mechs, and box mods in all shapes and sizes, and Reos, too. All the wire I could need to make every kind of coil for my tootle puffs, mod womps and wild childs, hmm.
And here I sit in cowville surrounded by my varied and beloved vape gear, enjoying myself. Whoo, look at that cloud! Ok, time to tootle for awhile after huffing out that thing. Ok, now a few puffs of a mod womp. Yep, life is good. I'll sit here enjoying my odd collection of vape gear and stay away from the B&M unless I have another wire emergency. The build box has a latch now though, so I'm expecting that won't happen.

is going on. To be honest---have Ko Gen Do japaneez cotton--steel mesh--Rayon--Walmart cotton yarn--hemp twine-steel cable-and dryer lint--can't see much of a difference in
any of it---hahahah

They were very enthused that I could talk mechs and high power box mods. They weren't expecting it, I could tell. They hadn't seen a Sig 100W yet as it was new a year ago. They probably couldn't believe some old lady had one before they did.
