Past that point they have been known to spontaneously explode. Something to do with reduced atmospheric pressure and the interaction with the Van Allen belts.
You'll be fine. The only thing I've ever had trouble with with a big elevation change is my eGo-t. I go from around 4900 feet to a little over 7000 feet and back down twice a day four or five times a week. My eGo-t would leak occasionally during my drive, but I can't tell the difference in any of my vaping equipment and how it vapes at high elevation or while I'm changing elevation.
I had my Tekk mod with a dual coil carto running like a champ up at 8800 ft at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon 2 weeks ago. No issues other than leaking bottles of juice due to the pressure changes (still have to clean out my juice box!). Only thing I would recommend based on that is keeping each juice in a separate baggie to contain the mess.
