I don't know if I'm going to get any answers here, but I'm going to my in-laws for thanksgiving this year and they don't know that I smoked. it may seem silly but I had always been embarrassed of that and went to great lengths to hide it. hell my girlfriend didn't even know till just before we got married. I digress, vaping doesn't seem to last as long as smoking. 5 hours without a cigarette didn't bother me much but more than 2 without a vape is torture. How do I sneak away and grab a few puffs without revealing my secret. I know if I ask my wife being the supportive person she is will demand I leave it at home. sarcasm really doesn't work in text:).

ok so take either the mvp or the gripper... best to take a clearo...

and... hit the can often... step outside frequently... find reasons to step away... if they are going to serve something like say key lime pie, get a key lime pie liquid... (try to match possible smells maybe, or ones that have faint or neutral, not overwhelming smells) when out of eye sight take your drag... hold for 5 seconds... exhale either slowly... or fast but let little out... try to be discreet... try it now... take a toot, hold for 5 seconds and let it out... shouldnt be too much vapor...

and if you dont do high pg... use higher pg... pg=less vapor... vg=more vapor...

maybe try a cooler vape than normal to decrease vapor more so...

You can sneak off and vape in the bathroom, this will work if you have a set up that is small enough to keep in your pocket. I have done this at lots of places and it has worked for me. Also after they go to sleep at night I would vape in the bedroom. I stayed at in-laws house for a month once and they had no idea I vaped at all. Good luck!

P.S. I would get my set up ready for the following day the night before when they were sleeping, this way it was always ready.

that's more or less what I was thinking, maybe even get another flavor in 24mg. my big concern is the smell, when I'm home with the wife I typically vape in the bathroom as she really hates the whole thing, but later she complains about the smell. personally I don't know what she's talking about, but thats still my concern.

There is no smell if there is no exhaling vapor. Just sayin'.

what on earth are you vaping? the only thing ive disliked about a vapor smell was a nasty chocolate that my wife had... that when she exhaled it smelled like burnt chocolate... other than that... 0 issues with smell... then again, ive heard of people being sensitive to the vapor...

hmmm.....

I discovered that Nicoticket's Creme Brulee smells like pipe tobacco after I gave my bottle to my friend.

I'd just tell them I use it because it helped me quit smoking and hit it whenever. Just hold it in and don't exhale vapor.

They'll focus on the quitting smoking part and ask question about the setup.

except they don't know that I smoked in the first place. I honestly think if I told them they would think the same as my wife, that this is just an excuse to keep smoking. in their eyes I didn't quit I just found a more acceptable way to keep smoking.

Then just be secretive about it. Personally, I don't care what people think of me, especially when it's my own success FOR ME, and I don't believe in hiding things because that has a tendency to bite one in the ... later down the line.

It's YOUR game to be played, however, and only YOU know how best to handle it for YOUR situation.

"...in their eyes I didn't quit I just found a more acceptable way to keep smoking." And what's wrong with that? It is Tobacco Harm Reduction.

What are you afraid would happen if you fezzed up and admitted that you used to smoke? Does that make you weak in their eyes? Do you really think there are "perfect" people walking this earth?

Good luck to you, and hope you do have a great Thanksgiving Day!

I am really proud of making the switch, after two years of failing to quit I finally found something that works. that is why it really upsets me when people look down on it because "I'm still smoking" its bad enough I get this everyday from my wife. I would prefer to tell the in-laws, hell I tell everybody, but given how they feel about me, and how they feel about smoking I would rather not add any fuel to that fire.

OK I got you here. My brother in law doesn't let me vape in his house. Yea, I know, friggin weird right?

Anyways, bring your smallest PV and just hit the bathroom. Take like 10 drags and you'll be good for a while. That's what I do. Never knows. Or maybe he does, but he won't call me on that :)

I ordered a K100 SPECIFICALLY for this Thanksgiving cuz the MVP is just too damn obvious!

peach, blueberry, cantaloupe, smartypants, tangerine swirl, caramel coconut cookie, it doesn't seem to matter. it could very well just be in her head given that I've been vaping now for over 7 months and this has only been an issue for the last few weeks.
