I'm contracting in a government building, but vaping was pioneered by a couple of long-term feds so everyone was ok. (They asked what it was, since those two use the awful cigalikes, but they were familiar with the idea and it was ... ignored at least, if not directly condoned.)

Converted a coworker, and he chain-vapes in a shared double-cube all day. The other guy has asthma but didn't even blink, he was familiar with the PG and knows it doesn't do him any harm.. (I did have to remind the coworker that vaping in an elevator is the quickest way to a building-wide ban..)

That's funny right there. :toast:

I will never feel victimized again.

Oh yah. No nicotine intake of any kinda. No cigarettes, no chewing tobacco, no e-cigarettes. Not only do you have to go outside, you have to go out to the sidewalk, not even just the drive way. Supposed to apply to everyone, but there is no force of law involved. However, being an employee of the state, I have to put up with it.

Plenty of issues.
I live in Utah and I'm currently working a seasonal job at a ski resort. When I work indoors, I am not allowed to vape inside, or around where customers can see..which I totally understand. Although, I do live in Utah. Utah passed a new section of our Clean Air Act, where people can no longer "vape" indoors unless told other wise of is an e-cigarette retailer.
I also work at a bank, there I am not allowed to vape indoors. There are a handful of us who do vape, we just have to go out for "Smoke Breaks".
Everywhere else, you just get a warning. Do it again, they give you a ticket. Do it again, they can either take it, or take you in.
Gotta love this state....

Only a few people here know about me vaping at my desk and the bathroom. :) They have never been able to smell anything and I have asked them. I also work at a University so I'm not going to bring it out in the open unless I know it is ok. For now I love working and listening to classic rock and roll and stealing a puff or four as I do so. :)

I work for the state of Ohio. I vape outside with the guys in the summer. I work in a cubicle and vape all day without most knowing. I keep a fan on all day to help with the vapor. My boss knows but said she will be tight lipped. As far as I know, I'm the only vapor at my work place. If someone saw me im sure that I would have to stop.

I work in an open-floorplan office, so I'll usually go outside into the hallway, or even downstairs for a vape break. Occasionally I'll steal a stealth vape at my desk, though. So far no comments, but I already clued a couple of my coworkers in to what I'm doing and everyone is pretty cool. Now that I no longer smoke analogs, I really hate getting up to go out for a 'fix' :vapor:

I work for a contractor to the Federal Government on the civilian side, and am a Reservist as well. On the civilian side, I am able to vape all day long. Based on who is in attendance, I puff away at meetings, briefings, and especially mandatory training sessions. :) Everyone within our company is cool with it, and it never causes a problem. It actually sometimes adds some levity to the meeting if someone goes half-cocked and says something really stupid and I feel the need to take a nice 6-second drag to keep from saying something myself! LOL!

On the Army side of it, my relationship with my Cdr and direct supervisor is really good. Once again, gauging who is in the room or building is a first. If a high-ranking officer or official is around, it's easier to just go into my office until I know whether they are closed minded to the idea, or if they actually vape themselves. Of course, rank does indeed hold some privilege, so the person that decides to complain would have to have their ducks in a row first.

So far the way that I have been accepted has been pretty good. And I have yet to meet someone who doesn't admire another person for not smelling like smoke!
