crap thats what i thought :( now if i stealth vape is there a flavor/brand that may be perfered as to not attract attention? im on 2nd shift and i work with 3 other people (2 fellow employ's and 1 formen) i can vape infront of the employes and they dont care and they wont say anything, we have a trust policy between us. my formen however will rat me out in a heart beat. i thought about going with a mint flavor and keeping a pack of mints in my pocket, that way when i come out of the bathroom stall and hes like "whats that smell" i could say "oh, my mints!, want one?" what do you all think? safe? not? it bugs me so much not being able to vape there but at the same time i cant lose my job.

The mints should throw him off just BECAREFULL! I don't wanna see you loose your job either. :)

Interesting idea actually :D
In my office nobody smokes, so that would be a problem. I usually vape in the bathroom brakes. The only problem is that theres 1 bathroom per floor and theres alot of people getting in and out of that place all the time, so its hard...

I dont think that would work for me, but as last resort I will just join the the other smokers outside the building :D

If nothing else 'smoking' with the others outside may get them interested and quit smoking too.

Far too many folks have tried quitting using all the other methods and had poor results. I've tried all but the laterst' designer drugs' (it's always the side effect warnings that make me think 'No way!') For me this is the first thing that's gotten me off analogs and still handle the cravings, as well as fulfilling all the psychological side issues that accompanies cigarettes. (something in the hand, 'smoke' coming out after inhaling deeply, etc.)

It's not worth losing your job over, boss has already made that clear for you.
Jobs are hard to come by lately too.

But I can't imagine too many jobs with worse air quality then the one you have. I worked in a foundry for a very short time many decades ago. The taste of metal was always in the air.

oh yes very strong metal and chemicle smells all day long. i wouldent care so much if it was like hospital, or even wal-mart. but a job where im exposed to much much worse then smoking, and i cant vape?!?! lol this world will never make any sense to me.

I vape at work all the time...almost 3yrs now. I've also converted 3 others in my office to vapers lol, so we all do. When I'm not in my office of about 20 people I work at auto factories and I have never been stopped from smoking at these however, I've heard that Caterpiller in Lafayette In. now has a no vaping policy on the factory grounds as with cigarettes...not even in the parking lot in your car!!

So the question is: Do you vape at work (no stealth mode) ?

I have two different working situations over the course of a normal week: On some days, I am in an office suite with two other guys, neither of whom smokes or vapes. However, I have explained and demonstrated vaping to them, and they're fine with it. I try to exercise moderate discretion; but if one of them walks in on me exhaling a cloud of vapor, they'll know that it's not smoke.

Other days, I'm in an office alone, and I vape to my heart's content :)

I work in an automotive repair shop and can vape while working all I want. The non-smokers enjoy guessing what flavor I've got. Earlier this week I let one guy look for the cookies he smelled for half an hour before I told him it was me(Copper Creek house blend is great, btw). Smoking wasn't that big of a deal anyway, but the boss likes that I'm not stepping outside to smoke all the time. I even converted one of my managers. Sometimes I go outside anyway though. Every once in a while you just need to step away from something and it works much better when you come back.
