Sigh. Here's my story...1 year ago, I started vaping and cutted down on analogs. Within 2 weeks, I started breaking out... (note that I am still smoking analogs) I think that it was the ecig that caused my breakout. So I stopped vaping, threw it away and continued smoking analog.

Last Feb 2014, I decided to quit smoking. I bought a 1 month supply of nicotine patches, slapped it on and never touched a single puff of analog since. After my supply of nicotine patches was used up, I decided not to continue with patches anymore because it was giving me very bad rashes to wherever I pasted the patches on. And so, I decided to go back to electronic.cigarettes.

The ejuice I bought was a mint flavor, 6mg nicotine, 70%.PG.and 30%.VG. and the ecig is Ego CE4.

At first, just one week of using it, a couple of acnes appear around my chin. Then the second week, it got worse. Small red spots, looking a little like freshly scald marks, appear all around my cheeks. Upon closer examining it, it was actually acnes forming under my skin that are soon to be breaking out.Not to mention, rashes (not those serious types) appear around my back and shoulders. I'm thinking it might be due to the fact that I usually vape at home topless. (I'm a 29 male btw).

I'm really feeling helpless and a little depressed from this break out. It makes me want to give up and just smoke analog instead. Sigh. Ok, I admit I am very vain.

Perhaps you are allergic to some flavors , do you buy all your juices from the same vendor ?
Also as some1 else pointed out quitting smoking has different side effects to people , I for example suffered from many mouth ulcers but it stopped after 1-2 months .

I started breaking out when I quit analogs and was using logic e-cigs. Those things would leak and I thought the juice was causing pimples around my mouth. I bought an MVP and nautilus with some VG juice the other day. Hoping this might help. I'm not going back to analogs but the zits suck. Sometimes they're really big and hurt. I had acne through my teens and twenties but cleared for the most part in my 30's. Gonna see how it goes.

Ive tried a few vendors like bestecig.com, hangsen and dekang. I even tried pg/vg mix and 100% vg. I must say 100% vg does slow down the breakouts.

the flavours I go for is only menthol. As for the device, I've used several ego clearomizer and finally to kayfun which at all points cause breakouts.

I understand that the initially switch from analogs to ecigarette might cause breakouts because I'm somehow quiting smoking, however it's been 6 months and the breakouts are still coming...

I really do wish I can continue vaping without breaking out. Sigh...

I really do wish I can continue

You might be using too many products on your face. The more you use, the more you strip your face of it's natural oils. Your skin will then over produce oil to try to balance everything out and then produce acne. I didn't start breaking out until I started using more makeup and more skin care products. Now I use less make up and use a makeup remover wipe at the end of the night and that's it. My skin is clear and I haven't had a break out in months. The less you do to your face the better.

Diet also plays a huge role. Dairy is a huge factor in break outs. If you eat a lot of dairy maybe try to cut it out, especially yogurt.

Well.... glad I performed this search. Even though I'm still smoking a few analogs per day, I'm mostly vaping, and, sure enough, I have the cystic acne happening! I have 2 spots on my cheek and 2 on my chin. :( I have occasional acne, but I rarely have this many spots at once. I am not happy about this, but I guess I'll ride it out!

It likely is an allergic reaction to *something* in what you are vaping. Might be in the flavors, but PG in the base would be my first guess for most likely culprit. Most e-liquids are a blend of PG and VG for the base (and that's almost certainly the case if the base isn't specified), but PG allergies are not that uncommon. I've heard of a variety of allergic reactions -- for me it's tight-chest breathing trouble, even with concentrations of only 10-20% PG. Try some liquid made with 100% VG and see if that helps.
