I can't shorten the host/port/app part of the url, it is what it is. The real problem is with the image url being passed as part of the full url. What I will have to do is come up with a mechanism to store a mapping of your image url to a short code. I'll work on it.

Thanks. One thing I don't understand is the message says the length limit is excluding bbs code. The entire img tag should be bbs code and should not be included in any length limit.

One thing, if your currency is $, you can cut "&cu=%24" from the url. If plain font face is ok, cut "&ts=?". Also don't enter any trailing zeros after decimal points and you don't need to pad month or day with zeros, 2010-8-1, is ok. Saves a little.

They are only counting the tags between brackets as bbs code, not content of tags

Reading through this thread, I see some people have been asking about a URL shortener. http://goo.gl works for me for these sigs.
